We are in an era where it wouldn’t surprise me if Medvedev does a channel slam.

Career inflection era at its peak of glory
He isn't winning rg anytime soon as competition is high. But you think he can win Wimbledon this year ?

While he is the best player on hard, his strategy of returning from 20 feet behind the baseline is not really a viable option on grass. Not saying he can’t win, but he’s a long shot.

He won’t! But your tears bringing joy.Whatever era it is keeps you trolls glued on discussion platforms. The plaque, incapable to enjoy the game claiming to be fan off

I have a bad feeling about Novak's chances this year.
I have a feel that a major heartbreak is waiting for Novak fans this year when he probably gets upset.
Hope I am wrong, but something doesn't feel right this year.
He ain't losing once he gets into the 2nd week though. In the first week, he may well get upset if some bot redlines.

Medvedev has room to improvement. Can use his serve &experience in bo5 but doesn't quite feel comfortable playing on it
Last year he was schooled by TVR &Hurkacz in F he reached on grass , won Mallorca as expected considering opponent was playing last professional matches of his career.

If he had beaten Hurkacz in 2021 he had a good path to the final I believe. Definitely he wasn't favorite from the half but he had fair chance vs Berrettini.

But Berretini was in his best form esp on grass ,just won Queens , had reached RG QF , so he had tons of good match practice on natural surfaces His slice BH works best on grass and can even masks TS weakness, serve&FH were weapons..

Djokovic
Kyrgios
Berretini
Sinner

Top 4 favorites on grass
I wouldn't say Kyrgios will ever again be a favorite for Wimbledon. I mean, he never was, but that run last year now makes him one of the favorites by logic.

But no, the guy is a clown and he is nit in the top 5 picks for the title in my opinion. It is Djokovic, Nadal, Alcaraz, Berrettini and Medvedev. Kyrgios might be in top 10 though.

He’s bound to lose there eventually. We just hope he’s fit to compete and same with Rafa as well.

I wonder who the crowd would be pulling for in a Djo-Med final...would they support a Russian or the guy that beat their beloved Rogi 3x in the finals.

Not sure how they treat Med, hopefully with respect, but they have cheered hard for Djokovic this past Wimbledon, even the one before that one. They see him as their champion now.

If Djokovic does not play well or looks injured (elbow issues?) and goes out early at Roland Garros, the two top seeds Alcaraz and Medvedev might have better betting odds of winning Wimbledon also than Djokovic. Between the two, Medvedev might be a better bet at this year’s Wimbledon.
