Exactly, the modded patches I saw impressed me a lot too. It almost feels like a real match between current players.
I guess you won Wimbledon less than the other three. If I counted well, you have the Australian Open six-pack like Djokovic in real life ;) and my guess is that he is the one who defeated you there in 2011.
That is a good combination, I like it. Though clay is really not my favorite since I tend to hit with full power most of the time and with clay it usually takes more time to win the point and by that also makes my player tired sooner, so there it tends to turn into a fest of long, deep, heavy top spin exchanges.

Correct with the AO titles (2005 - def. Agassi in 3, 2006 - def. Federer in 5, 2007 - def. Federer in 4, 2008 - def. Davydenko in 3, 2009 - def. Nadal in 5, 2010 - def. Federer in 3). But my loss in 2011 was not to Djokovic, it was in fact to Andy Murray - Novak won the title anyway though ;) I've not played Djoko at the AO yet, we'll see if that happens in the 2012 year
Then French Open - I have 4 of these (2006 - def. Robredo in 3, 2007 - def. Nadal in 5, 2010 - def. Nadal in 3, 2011 - def. Djokovic in 3)
US Open - I have 2 (2008 - def. Federer in 5, 2010 - def. Nadal in 4)
Wimbledon - I got denied quite a few times here but eventually broke through in 2009 against Federer in 4. Won in 2010 against Soderling in 3 tie-breaks too :)

It can get a little tiring with the long rallies but I like to move the opponent around before forcing an error or striking a winner.

Wow you even remember the details.
Well I like moving my opponent too at times, but when it is Nadal on clay or any slower surface, it gets really frustrating, since he returns 10 of my excellent shots and takes the point away from me with only one of his. :D

To be fair, I have the scores/stats logged in my game file so I just looked it up again
Is it his Forehand DTL? :D Nadal on clay is very tough unless your player is specifically designed to attack his weaknesses (basically what I did) - even though my character plays with single handed BH, the fact that I'm left-handed helps with the angles as well

The only thing that makes me slightly jealous is the fact you can mod tennis elbow and use whoever you like. On Top Spin, there are players I want to use, but their stats are so buggered that it makes it pointless. Can't believe what they did to Pete. :/

No, EVERY shot he hits is DTL. :D My player is Djokovic most of the time.

Interesting - perhaps in the next version they will add more to Djokovic's skill set. Very good/solid most of the time, but can still break down his defence
When Rafa is on it gets complicated anyway, there is no problem in Djokovic, I like that match-up a lot. One match that I played against Nadal lasted 6 hours and 16 minutes. Not sure who was more stubborn in that one, me or the computer.

Yeah, I usually pin him deep on the BH side with inside-out forehands/DTL FH/CC Backhand, then stretch him out wide with topspin CC forehand before trying to come up with a finishing shot (much easier for left-hander though). Sometimes the finish is a drop volley at the net, other times a smash, other times a DTL winner into the opposing corner

I do it in a similar way, my goal is to make him slice. I use pretty much the same thing against Federer too. No matter how good shot I hit to their forehand they hardly ever slice, in fact they usually respond with an even better shot. Their backhands are definitely my key, once they slice it, it is usually my point.
Wish I could once play with another person so the real outsmarting games can start. It can get predictable after a while when against a CPU.

Hi all,

I'm a massive fan of Andy Murray. In a few months time, it'll be exactly three years since he last won a Grand Slam. I really had high hopes for him on Sunday against Djokovic. However, his performance on Sunday was just horrible. He was sleepwalking in the first set, and choked in the last two sets.

I'm hoping he can at least win one slam this year, but if he continues to play like he did on Sunday, he has no chance.

So, do you think Andy Murray will win a slam in 2016? If not, who will win the remaining three slams this year?

Also, feel free to post your predictions for the Olympics! Who will win the gold medal?
Yes!
MuryGoat.
