Wow, lone wolf, you sure need some female company at your basement!! Is this not a record, or did someone once crack 100.

It's one of those records you wouldn't want anyone to know about, like Vince Spadeas record for consecutive losses on the tour.

I mean 74 posts a day. Maybe Lonewolf is in prison - solitary confinement - and they gave him a laptop.

HAHA. Yeah, some female company would be nice. I've been in bed for almost 1 week though. My OCD helps to get a high average unfortunately as well.

LMFAO. I am too smart to be in prison. Haven't got caught yet. :)

Seriously though, I expect my average will go down soon dramatically once I get obsessed about something else. That's the way it goes.

Do you remember a guy called FedFan2009 or something like that? He got banned, but I think he had around 100 at one stage.

I've been thinking that yes, it is possible, especially if Federer doesn't win any more slams. But that is unlikely.

To put things in perspective.....

-Wilander had 6 Slams on his 24th birthday and won 1 more (right after 24th birthday)
-Becker had 5 Slams on his 24th birthday and won 1 more.
-Borg had 8 Slams on his 24th birthday and won 3 more.
-Sampras had 6 Slams on his 24th birthday and won 8 more.
-Federer had 5 Slams on his 24th birthday and has won 11 more since.

Lendl had 0 slams on his 24th birthday and won 8 more!

However on Nadal no I don't think so, he peaked early don't think he is going to make it playing top level tennis until 28.

I think Rafa will end up with 12-14 slams - Fed might have another two or three in him, but I see that window starting to close a little. If the mens game stays depressed, it's a two horse race for the next several majors. It's so tough to call, because the slightest slip physically from either guy means the difference between brilliance and mediocrity. In this regard, the burden is on Rafa, since Rog has made it cleanly through his late twenties. I think Fed will hold the record for a long time, but Rafa will make it close enough to ensure that we'll have a lot to talk about for a long time...

unlikely since injury already cost him 5-6 slams and benefited Fed by several slams.

5-6 slams!?!!? Haha what a joke. Which 5 or 6 are those exactly. These are the only ones that I can think of:

2009 French Open possibly
2009 Wimbledon (if you believe he would have won)

2007 Wimbledon he did not lose due to injury but due to playing all the big points poorly all match long. He actually overall outplayed Federer that day but Federer was the much better competitor that day interestingly enough.

There arent any others even worth considering.

If he can, what is he doing with 0 Slams and 0 MS titles to his credit? The poor sod is 25 years old. Is he waiting for the planets to align just right?

What a stupid non sequitur. So because he doesn't have slams or masters titles, he can't beat someone in the top 8 on any given day? Christ, do you think before you type?

Spedea is totally misjudged as a musician .

Some might say he's just some white wanna-be rapper, but that couldn't be further from the truth, he's like a combination of Mozart and Homer. But as often the case with geniuses, he's not fully appreachiated during his lifetime.

and thoze foos aint talking no smack on The Spade... ay?...

but if i may, where you consider him to be a combination of Mozart and Homer, i much rather look at him as a fusion of Karl-Heinz Stockhausen and Lady Gaga with a hint of Jay-z !!!

I can see your point, although I'd say that Stockhausen's music is a bit trivial compared to that of the great Spadea.

The complex nature of Spadea's music makes classification and comparision with other more-average talented musicians very difficult, but good try nonetheless.

Spadea will prove everybody wrong by winning Wimbledon and having a number one single and album all at the same time. You heard it here first.

I heard he planned to achieve that feat last year already (which was the mainreason for Nadal's Wimbledon-withdrawal).

As a perfectionist he was very unhappy with his near-perfect album, so now 2010 is the year for greatness on and off the court.

so i heard... he gave up on the SW19 because his record was going down the drain due to differences with the record producer at the time, being Josh Homme... making the goal SW19 & Nr. 1 record void. since then he has been working with Pharrel Williams...

i expect huge things!

Bump. Seems like I was ahead of my time. Nadal continues to be ahead of Federer in terms of GS titles at the same age.

Enjoy the hilarious responses in this thread putting down Rafa.

May be I am wrong, but I don't see him beating the slam record, at best he can just equal it.

I think when it comes to the big 3..it's fair to say we are long past making any plausible predictions. No one expected 3 players to go past Sampras and still be competing at the same time. I still have no clue at what order they'll end up in the slam race

To be fair I always thought Pete record will be broken in future as 14 slam was not a big mark, borg got to 11 with out playing AO and without winning single USO.

Broken yes... But broken by 3 players in the space of a decade? And all 3 will end up being ahead of it by some distance. I never expected Nadal to come back after 2016 and win 4 more slams, so I am not betting against him adding more

As a Federer fan I say Nadal will break 20. So the question is if Federer can add to his own number.

This Wimbledon is huge. If Nadal wins, then Federer badly needs US Open or Australian Open, or Nadal will make it 20-20 at RG next year. Also it would be the biggest possible confidence boost for Rafa to win on grass again.

If Federer wins Wimbledon, then I would say Nadal needs an off-clay Slam soon.

They will both finish at 20 GS titles including Novak, hence creating one of the most controversial topics in the history of sport with discussion that will last until the end of time...

With Nadal constantly winning RG every year, it takes two years to catch and one more to break Fed's record unless Djokovic allying with Chatrier's roof stop the bull.

Here. Also, the talk about consecutive unsuccessful generations, the Next Gen fiasco etc etc. All those are the biggest admissions that everyone and their dogs are aware of the situation.

Yes, the later generations appear very poor. I hardly think that blame for that can be attributed to the tennis authorities though.

They won't, and the debates have already shifted focus form "who is the best player with most Majors" to "why are the tennis authorities actively ruining tennis". At least for anyone with an ounce of tennis knowledge (and who cares about what the hot-dog eater thinks?).

Love it. The day will come when Nadal beats Fraud’s GS record with Djokovic overcoming Fraud in weeks at #1 and WTF titles so the argument of maestronians will end up being either

"Fedr GOAT because illuminati screwed him" or "Fedr GOAT because beauty backhand"

All those are actually just the biggest admissions of Fed fans desperation in this beautiful times.

Tennis is fine, not that fine as in big 4 times, but finer than in "one man destroy noobs" 2004-2007 times...
