Or should I say #Grassdal......
Obviously it's early and he didn't play last year.... this is just speculative and ill bump this after Wimbledon. This poll will be open for 3 weeks so get your votes in :p

I'm pretty confident he will. If He wins the French this year, I think he'll do well at Wimbledon. Especially with his serve improving and his increased tendency to go to the net.

Pretty hard to say without seeing him even step on Grass. I also usually refrain from predicting stuff before looking at the Draw, especially at Wimbledon, since most Grass Court Specialists are punished by the scarcity of Tournaments in the Surface and other factors, which gets them to end up without a Seeding and thus to possibly jump out on early Rounds (where the grass is also still faster to favour them).

That said, Nadal has done pretty good in the early Hard Court Season where he's generally less comfortable than on Grass (except in recent years, but he really looks better now), so I think the odds are on his side.

I'm gonna say yes. I think he's due for one more Wimbledon run and he's playing more aggressive off both wings under Moya's tutelage.

Yes he will. Finally playing w no knee injury that made him insecure on the slippy grass, playing solid, Moya been the perfect addition on the team... he might go very deep in the tournament.

I wouldn't make a prediction one way or the other yet, but since R16 is technically the second week at Wimbledon he has a chance. Whether or not he gets past the R16 is draw dependent IMO.

Depends on his draw. 2015 he looked so good that week in Stuttgart, and then he got to England, and it all just fell apart.

He may but it's a toss-pu for me. May be upset by some big hitter earlier on. He may be also quite tired after his gruelling clay season so some niggling injuries may appear - he's not 25 years old any more.

I think he will. I think Nadal is more confident than ever before and his new coach Moyà has certaintly added something.

He's the form player right now and it's up to the rest to rise to the challenge. Djoko gets his turn today but Rafa is favourite but I hope Novak gives him a good battle.

His serve game is completely resurrected this year so absolutely. Rafa is 6 in the Wimbledon race right now, but with his momentum on clay he could easily nudge out Fed and Djoko for 2 seed. Wimby race:

Looks like we're in for a Bull rally in 2017.:p

Yeah, but that was after:
21/2015 QF FO - RG Clay Novak Djokovic Rafael Nadal 7-5 6-3 6-1 1.35 - 3.64

At this pace, I'd say yes. But let's see how RG and Queens shakes out first. Right now he's got that aura back, and it's allowing him to beat lesser players even when he doesn't have his best stuff. If he wins RG, I bet it'll take a dialed in top 10 player to take out a confident Rafa, even on grass.

Don't really agree that it'll take a dialed in top 10 player. Nadal is a confidence player yes, even more so than the other top players, but he won RG in 2012 and 2013 and was still knocked out before the second week. He also won it in 2014 and only made the Round of 16 at Wimbledon.

Momentum and confidence are everything. If he can sustain his great run on hardcourt and clay then I don't see why he can't improve his grasscourt prospects too.

He's too good to go out early this many times in a row. Statistically, you can't face big hitters early on (and lose to them) every year in the same tournament.

In 2013 he won Madrid, Rome, Roland Garros, Montreal, Cincinnati, and the US Open, and in the middle of this run he still managed to lose to Steve Darcis in the first round of Wimbledon. Until he shows up at SW19 and we actually see him play... I would never bet on him.

Rafa played through knee pain during the whole year 2013. He had Hoffa's disease in his left knee.
An excerpt from Rafa's interview in Cincinnati on August 14, 2013:
RAFAEL NADAL: "I felt more trouble on grass because the movements are less stable and I need to play [bend knees] lower than in the rest of the surfaces."

The pictures below were taken after the Davis Cup playoff tie on September 15, 2013, i.e. three weeks after the USO. You can see how Rafa avoids bending his left knee:

My dream draw for Nadal for Wimbledon,

Brown
Anderson
Karlovic
Potro/Cilic
Lopez/Tsonga
Kyrgios
Raonic

Rafa withstands onslaught of big serves to reclaim his prowess on the surface.

Hard to say. His vulnerability is in the early rounds. If he gets a favourable draw, meaning someone who isn't a heavy hitter early on, then I'd say yes.

Pretty much this.

People seem to forget that Rafa has always been vulnerable in the earlier rounds of Wimbledon, even in his best years when he actually reached the final or won the tournament, he had to survive a number of tough five set matches in the first couple of rounds (Kendrick, Petschner, Haase, Soderling come to mind) - which he could just as well have ended up losing, like he did in the past couple of years.

I say yes, but depends on draw. If you get some serve 'n volley nut like Misha Zverev on early rounds........

Like everyone else said it's about the draw but I mean, Rosol, Darcis and Brown doesn't spell much difference.

I'll say no because 75% against his last 4 outtings but it's only 3 matches to win.
