Will Nadal be the first man in open era history to win a DOUBLE career grand slam (winning every major twice)?
Bah, shame it isn't public.
I voted no even though I know he will....simply being a blind Fedhopeful.
When do you think he will? AO 2014?
Don't know....2014 most likely.
Possible but also impossible... if you get what I mean.![]()
No, I don't. I didn't make this poll multiple choice.
Possible for him to win a Double Career Slam, but impossible for him to win a Triple Career Slam.
Why is it impossible for Nadal to win a Triple Career Grand Slam?
Nadal will most likely complete the Triple Career Grand Slam at some point. He has another 5 years as a top contender and should get 2 more Australians and atleast 1 more Wimbledon in that time. He will complete the double Career Slam at next years Australian Open.
would love to see him walking on the sun too... especially after all this hot plate training.Nadal will also do the double of going to moon and space and that too without a space shuttle.
28/32 of Talk Tennis posters currently believe that Nadal will win a Double Career Grand Slam.
Rafa will win the next four slams, eclipsing Roger's fluke 17 slam count, and making the double career slam, and being the first person to hold all four at a time in the open era, all at the same time.
Vamos Rafa !
the nadal should entirely skip the regular tour in order to prepare for this IPLT real deal.I think Nadal should skip the Australian Open to prepare for Roland Garros. But I doubt he'll agree to that.
Ralph hasn't lost a step winning slams for 9 consecutive years now. Even if you argue he has, he can just go out there and employ his usual moonballing strategy which 99% of the tour cant handle to reach the F without breaking a sweat. Who's gonna stop him, Dasco?

ayeYes, he will, dear Bullzie.
I am planning to open a 'Countdown to Nadal's double career slem' thread. All those in favor say 'aye'
I'm going to say no, sure he ONLY, has to win one Aus Open, but its another year and he's slowing down, as is Djoko
Its age, it happens I'd say last year was for Rafa what 09 was for Fed.
He'll pick uo 2-3 more slams, most likely 2 FOs and One USO
Although being a runner-up means nothing, it's still amazing how Nadal got much closer to a triple GS than I had imagined.
There is a scenario that he could achieve it at AO and then see Djoko match at FO. Not likely but possible.
I can just see all the endless threads arguing about whether the Double CGS is better than 5 at 3 slams though - no one will change their minds and it will all be full of aggro.
To end this debate, Roger must win 2018 FO. This way he'll have both, and the debate is over![]()
You think that a man who'll be 31 when the next FO is played (and who has won it once in his career) is "likely" to win another one ?!The only one likely to win the double CGS is Djokovic.
You think that a man who'll be 31 when the next FO is played (and who has won it once in his career) is "likely" to happen?
