Will Rafa get back to tennis if Djokovic sweeps the year from here? Seems much more likely with Wimbledon coming up.

Novak is never going to be better than Nadal to me lol, whats his last truly impressive win? Hitman can call me all the names he wants, he knows no one cares if Novak beats Sinner at Wimbledon again :D ultronians will forever scrape, beg and plead for people to see what they see in rusty bones :p zzzzzz
He is probably lifting that third coupe de mascarates. It would be poetic if he does. Rafa takes away Nole's AO ( due to politics I must add ) Novak goes to his turf and takes away RG. God I hope it happens now. Rafa matching Nole the goat doesn't feel right. I could agree with fed but Rafa is just the rival.

Could be, but it's not Novak's best surface so no big harm done.
What about grass?
Maybe would be too much to expect Nadal beating Alcaraz at RG in 2024.
Wouldn't be nice sight to see this boy humiliate and beat tennis legends in their late 30s.
Alcaraz isn’t winning Wimbledon and probably won’t defend the US open either if everyone is playing. Even if he does win RG. There’s much tougher competition on hards than clay and he isn’t ready to win on grass against all those big hitters
Hmm

It’s another reason Nadal likely won’t win anything again. I mean he will be 38, injury riddled body, maybe out top 200 and not played in over a year.

Then he will try to be coming back where Alcaraz is beginning to enter his peak. It seems a fools hope he can win anything even on clay next year.

It wouldn’t surprise me if he doesn’t come back. He will only return if there’s a chance he feels he can win a major again. If not then don’t see him bothering. It all depends on the movement and if he can’t get it back even to early 2022 level then it not happening.

Missing UO on purpose even though he said he is ok to play is explaining what will happen next year. One more RG and that's it.
