No. I think he's only focused on being in peak fitness for Roland Garros. And using the smaller tournies to stay sharp. He knows his body needs a lot more recovery time. If this was 2013, Nadal would play every tournament.

he'd definitely need a win and a deep run in the 2nd half. don't see him getting there tbh.

and lets not forget, winning the grand slam is still 'only' worth 8000 points, and I see a certain A.Zverev sitting at 7970 points, and that's without anything to show for in slams.

so no, he can't and he won't. but it would surely help further cement his status.
