Will Sinner be better on grass than on clay?

G.O.A.T.
Sinner came within a point of winning the FO and likely will win some FOs in the future. He has not made even the final of Wimbledon so far on grass. Will he win more FO or Wimbledon trophies in his career? His gamestyle is somewhat like Djokovic and we all know that Djokovic won almost twice as many Wimbledons than French Opens. Will Sinner’s game be more effective on grass than on clay in the future? Will he beat Alcaraz more easily on grass or clay in their future careers which will likely decide which Slam he wins more?

I honestly don’t feel strongly about it one way or the other.

Sinner is great everywhere, but performs the best on HC. Sure he is yet to win a big clay title, on the other hand he cruised in to the FO finals without losing a single set, so I guess that speaks volumes about his skills on clay.
As far as grass is concerned, he does pretty well there too. Last year he was distracted by that doping controversy, but in 2023 he had reached semis and one year before upset Alcaraz in 4 sets. To sum up, I think the grass suits him more, but it is almost 50/50 situation

His serve becomes a weapon on grass but his movement is better on clay

Ironically serve is one last aspect of his game that could be i dunno 30-40% better ...
For a guy of his height. His hold numbers are excellent , no doubt, but I think that once Darren leaves his time, Sinner should hire some former serve dominant player. Roddick, Becker etc.

I’m starting to feel like grass might be his better surface compared to clay. He handled Alcaraz with relative ease today.

Fairly matchup dependent. As his main rival is Alcaraz, he will probably do better on grass. It is clearly a better matchup for him on grass than on clay.

He's probably about equal on the two surfaces. Today, a relatively routine 4 set win over Alcaraz on grass. A month ago, but for a once in a lifetime comeback, it would have been a relatively routine 4 set win over Alcaraz on clay.
