He matches up well against Alcaraz, which is someone he very likely should face.

I don't think he should avoid any player in particular, as in having zero chance against one specific player, but there are just several players who CAN beat him. With Alcaraz you feel as if he's a lock to win against many players at a slam. Few players can beat him (Sinner being one of them).
Power is the last thing that Sinner lacks.

does he truly have the power to dictate play with the forehand on slow hardcourts? don't tell me how hard he can hit the ball, even jeremy chardy could do that in his day......faster courts at us open allow him the pace needed to be the counter puncher that he is......

Idk. I don’t trust sinner to make it deep in a slam and win. His legs ran out in Miami. After winning Toronto - he looked gassed a couple days later. Maybe take some lessons in how medvedev and Novak train to be able to make multiple finals over the span of what 5-6 to tournaments in a row?

Him and rune from the eye test seem to fatigue the deeper they go in grand slams. Sinner looked a little bit fresh going into the Wimbledon QFs but his draw was well - quite easy.

If I have to oversimplify it, I'd say that Sinner does have the power, but he doesn't have the legs to go with it.

I think this was true, but I feel that Cahill has worked with him a lot specifically on his fitness.
Fitness is one thing, but the legs don’t look strong enough. I think once the legs become stronger, his serve and overall endurance should improve. Especially the serve consistency. I noticed last year whenever he reached the fifth set, including his 5 set loss to Tsitsipas this year, he served poorly because once the legs get tired, his serve is impacted
