Will Swingvision still work with an Android?

I know on the website it says you need an iphone, however, I have a mac and I have an android. My phone is a T Mobile Revel V and the computer is a macbook air newest generation to be exact. I heard that you can import video onto the swingvision app, so long as you have a macbook, which I do.


If I import a video match recorded with my android onto my macbook, would it be able to do analyze all shots and stats?

The website says the cheapest way is to buy the oldest 2nd gen iphone, but wouldn't the cheaper way just be to use my current phone and import it onto the mac?

Swingvision is an Apple app. AFAIK currently, you can’t DL an Apple app to Android. The answer currently is No.

Yes, I know the App is not available on Android, but could I record a match with my Android phone, upload the video to the Swingvision Mac App version, and have it analyze and work the same way on my Mac computer?

Depends in the format used in Android. If Android can record in a format that is acceptable to the iMac and Swingvision, then yes. I know that I can read Apple movie files on my Windows machine. I can also transform PC to Apple formats. The question is whether the Swingvision app put special markers on the files they create snd if so, whether Android can transparently export the file. There is a thread monitored by the SV folks, so you should ask them if their movie file recordings are standard or tweaked.
