Will happen at some stage. Question is will it be this year?

In 2002 the winners were:
AO: Thomas Johansson
RG: Albert Costa
W: Lleyton Hewitt
UO: Pete Sampras

After that at least one member of the Big3 have won a Grand Slam each year. Will this end this year 2024?

it feels like a possibility. djoker will prob win wimbledon though.
Djokovic still hits the cleanest ball but his stamina issues really are a concern. MC wasnt even hot but he really struggled and given we are 5 months almost into the year and this was happening in Australia it is a concern for him surely.
Rafa and Novak will want to make one last stand but Alcaraz and Sinner probably now a bridge too far for both now over 5 sets. Perfectly natural of course.

This feels like a real possibility now for the first time. Nadal is absolutely not going to do it. As much as I'd love to see him get "one more" and getting to 15 RG titles, there is just no way at this stage. It'll be great if he can even play and finish all his matches at RG at this point.

Djokovic is still good, but something is different this year and none of his matches so far have been truly impressive. RG and USO I really can't see at this point. Wimbledon yes, but not that certain. Too many in-form, younger players at the moment and he also lost last year.

This is an incredibly open year. But for real this time.

Djokovic is joint first favorite for RG

First favorite for USOpen

And second favorite for Wimbledon.

Be very CAREFUL what you wish for.

Wasn't he the top favorite to win the recent Australian Open?
:sneaky:
Yes.

World number 1 is defending 2 slams right now. Does not matter even if he loses once in a while. It will take a hell lot more for him to be declared dead.
And we will hear of it until he is not playing at that level for more than 6/7 months.

If he doesn't win any GS titles this season, will 2025 be the last of his career?

I speculate on Rome
There's a small chance that he'll win his first title in Rome in 2024. Number 99 and then fire away in Paris

No.... :X3:

Heh, heh. Religious or not, no denying that Novak is highly blessed. If he can't win the USO 2024 title with the draw he has, maybe the Gods of Tennisdom are absent! :)

But yah, man. That possibility, after all these years is a talking point. It would be another cut to the anchor still holding the Big 3 ship ( Novak and Rafa still being on the current tour) afloat.
What interests me is whether a non-slam winner will win it this time. If one of Novak, Carlitos, Jannik, Daniil who are all GS champions and current best players on tour can't win, it will be more surprising than if Novak, (and ipso facto, one of the big 3 ) doesn't win it. Intriguing that an 'outsider' might win.

Looks like it is, folks.

Just gonna slide in and ridicule your perfectly apt response at the time It was written.
You know I wanted to ridicule OP by end of usopen but Novak has really disappointed us all at the usopen. So I will allow it.

Dude didn't even come to fight at all. And it was a slam where he could have won. The draws collapsed

Who were the 19 voters tricked into voting for Djokovic?
