Williams/Ramos. WTA Pro Barbora Strycova gives her view

For those that don't follow the WTA, Strycova is not one to shy away from confrontation with umpires/players.
 
Don't apologize for "another" ramos/williams thread. I hadn't seen the other one posted either. My fav was the 1st thread right after it happened, that had several thousand replies. That was deleted the next day. Think of it as helping to drain a swamp (a bog?). Gotta start somewhere.

I'm sure it's just me, but I respect a 5'4", 135lb, slamless top 25 ranked player who's outspoken, than a FORMER #1, multi-slam winner, who's 5'9", 200lbs, that's been playing pro tennis for 20 years and STILL can't hit a basic forehand or backhand volley. Who thinks she can win a slam being 40+ lbs overweight, even!

I've only stated that Ramos might have been a bit too quick to warn for coaching.

I don't really need to, or want to, speculate on the reason.

Sexism is rampant in society, so it's not implausible. It's just speculative.

So the player who’s won multiple slam doubles titles can’t hit a volley?

And nice try with the absurd weight for Serena.

I’m sure you would have focused on the weight of a male player as well. Good job proving Serena’s point...genius

Who knows, probably the coaching was so obvious and offensive that he had no other choice. Especially when they show PM coaching on the big screen.

Get a life, Oracene. If she ate a puppy during the 2ND PLACE trophy presentation, you'd defend the indefensible. She's as big as the house that dropped on one of her early role models in The Wiz of Oz.
 
I'm still waiting to hear from Bouchard, since she was so opinionated about Sharapova's "cheating".

But, a Barbora and Serena match in the near future would be most interesting. Put Ramos in the chair, and Shino calling the baseline for foot faults. :D

I think we already know what one 1st rd match at the AusO will feature, we'll maybe it will be a 2nd rd match so as not to be too obvious...

anyway, alt-righters (to which you ally yourself at times) are using this episode as some kind of wet dream to further soak their paranoia and insecurities about a society that continues to progress.
