Wilson Blade 100 V9 vs Head Gravity MP 2025

Hello, i testet a lot of rackets the last months.

Pure Aero 98 was nice, but somehow it was too hard too swing for me all day long.

I most like the Blade 100 v9 and also the Head Gravity MP 2025 !

What do you think about these 2 rackets and which racket would you take?

thanks

Doesn't matter what we think. Test the two back to back and pick the one that edges the other out based on criteria of serve, groundstrokes, volleys. If it's still a tie then pick the Gravity based on paint job alone.

Just test them out, what members have to say about those rackets doesn't, cause it is you hitting them.
Saying that, will mention one thing, if PA 98 is kinda demanding on a pyshical point of view, dont know if Gravity MP or Blade 100 V9 will 'fix' it. As the SW is more or less the same. Also keep in mind that Gravity and Blade are more on the controled spectrum off things. Access to power is clearly less.
In any case, both are great rackets.

Thanks, i think i need a bigger sweetspot. Pure Aero 98 is too small against big hitters. And on clay you have too much misshits.

Do you think that the Blade 100 v9 is better racket on clay? I am from germany and i need a little bit spin, kick serve for second serve.

If you have access to a demo program
I would demo:

Wilson Blade 100 V9 (out of interest)
Head Gravity MP (out of interest)
Babolat Pure Aero 100 (less demanding than the 98 and a lower SW+ you want spin)
Wilson Shift 99 (its Wilson's Spin line + 99 inch+ a SW that is lower than Pure Aero 98)
Yonex Vcore 98 (because of the shape of the head, sweetspot is enlarged, it's a spin racket and about the same SW as the Aero 100 and Shift 99
Head Speed MP or MPL depending on your prefered weight specs, as Head Speed is the most versitale line of Head, and honestly one of the most versitale rackets among all brands.

Blade hits heavier ball and is more stable. Gravity is easier to swing, has bigger sweetspot and easier spin but for me lacks a bit mass (at least in stock form). Which one is better depends on how you hit. Blade is better at driving through the ball, flat shots and genarally more attacking style, Gravity is better at brushing the ball and medium paced topspin game.

I still think the Speed MP is swiss army knife of tennis racquets that does everything well and if only one frame could be used by everyone, it would be the one.

Gravity MP needs a few grams of weight. It has higher twist weight than blade. Plenty stable with just a leather grip. Agree with everything else.
