Any string recommendations for Wilson Blade 98 18X20 string pattern?

I've used a full bed of Wilson NXT in the past but i feel like there isn't enough power with this setup. Any recommendations? A full bed of Luxilon ALU Power or Solinco Hyper G maybe? Or should i go with a hybrid setup?

Make sure to go down in tension, I go around 51-53 gut/multi and 43-48 poly, but you can go even lower for more power.

Stiff Poly's 17 gauge or thinner, 42-48 lbs I know works very well. Personally enjoy hyper g and others recommend Silver 7 tour . I'm experimenting with softer setups but haven't been successful as I've strung too low and it is way too powerful.

Got some feedback and it said that a full bed of solinco tour bite 17 plays really good with this racquet? Anyone tried the solinco tour bite 17 with this racquet?

17G Silver 7 Tour has worked out great for me at around 43 lbs. I've gone as low as 40lbs and as high as 55. I definitely like the softer setup. The tension maintenance is really good with this as well. For $10/set it's worth a try.

I’ve tried tourbite 17g many times with the v7. Personally it’s my favorite set up but it’s also dependent on how you play. I love the control, spin, and power it gives but it does feel very stiff and dead. If you don’t mind the feel then you should try it out! I recommend stringing it between 48-52lbs any higher and it’s going to feel even more stiff

Full bed Nat gut will give more power, but I would use a quality gut that can take a relatively high tension, as high tension will give you decent control as well.

Hang on what? You feel there’s not enough power in a full bed multi so you think a poly is going to be better? Am I missing something? Only other thing to try is a. Ore powerful multi, x1 perhaps, drop tension, or go natural gut.

Not getting enough topspin was a problem too with Wilson NXT.

Bought the v7 18x20 some months ago and now bought a wilson poly gold 16 gauge.

Now, this is my first time ever that I'm gonna play not only with a blade, but with a wilson. Before buying this one I used Head for about 10 years, and before Head I used Babolat for 3 years.

The tension that I usually go with is 56 lbs, but for the last 6 years I was using a head graphene radical pro (16x19) that didn't have much control, now with this blade that it's 18x20 and it's supposed to have more control than power, I was thinking of going with maybe 52 lbs? Especially considering that I'm using a poly string. Should I go with even less? maybe 50 lbs?

Creating power is not a problem for me, is the control part that I always have problems with so that's why I don't know exactly what tension to put in this racquet. It'll be my first time playing with an 18x20 string pattern in 7 years as well.
