wilson blade 98 18x20 vs graphene speed pro

Tested more rackets: the six one 95s, pro staff 97 and the older youtek speed mp 315gram. I'm playing a lot of doubles and liked the older speed the most but it isnt really an armfriendly stick. The six one 95s reacts strange and the ps97 feels like a board and from the baseline low powered.

The speed got a small sweetspot and causes me elbow pain. Is the newer graphene speed pro better? Or should I go with the softer blade 98 18x20? Read both plays pretty similar.

I tried the new GSP strung with the same string I currently use on my GSP and find it to be a tad stiffer. They felt stiffer but I don't have a RDC machine to confirm this and it could also be my GSPs have soften up over time.

One thing to keep in mind when using the GSP or any stiffer racquet is the string tension. I strung mine at 52lbs gut mains and 48lbs poly cross and that helps dampen some of the stiffness. Going lower will probably help as well.

I did not find the PS 97 to be a low powered racquet but perhaps it was the string and tension you had it strung at. I had it strung with gut mains at 54lbs and 50lbs poly cross and if you don't put a good amount of spin, balls fly past the baseline.

Ps97 was the wilson sensation. At net the racket performans really good. From the baseline it felt short. You really have to hit the sweetspot. Vibrations hmmz...not really arm friendly this ps97.

Speed mp 315 string with the black sonic at 25 kg. Love the racket at net and service. Never served so well with a racket. Power and precision. I can't get a gsp tester at my local shop so Im hoping it isnt totally different compared to the speed mp 315 gram. Read somewhere they brought the feel of the graphene speed line like 25 procent towards the extreme line. Playing with the EP2.0 at the moment, but Im looking for more control and feel, especially at net since I play most of the time doubles. The only downside for me is the speed mp felt kinda arm unfriendly. Balls out of the sweetspot made the racket a little unstable and a lot of vibrations. Could be the string, but maybe the gsp feels better.

Thats why Im thinking of the blade and the six one 95 18x20 too.
