I just finished testing Wilson Blade 98s, and I must say I am very surprised with this racquet, I mean what they made is a perfect customization tool with that one, in stock it feels like playing with a toy really, nothing good in stock form with that one, but after adding 15g to the handle and 8g at 3/9 and 12 it feels just right, great spin, great stability, awesome feel and overall great at every aspect of the game...
So my question is, what the hell did Wilson thought when making this frame., I highly doubt they know that some of us use various ways of customization our frames, so basicly for me stock spec is not important(if the racquet is quality made and has over 310 sw)....that thing in stock form, I would recomend it to weekly hack 3.0s who look to add some "spin" to their game, and some low level junior girls :O
all in all, nice find after some heavy tweaking
but Wilson really messes up with it's frames these days(Burn line sucks, Blade 98s are too head heavy and too high swingweight to start, new Prostaffs are too stiff and have no feel, RF97 is like a club, Dimitrovs frame is too head heavy to start too, I mean you cannot find a normal frame in their line any longer, and this comes from a guy who really have played with alot of frames and isn't too picky about his equipment
