wilson blx six one 95 vs pro staff 95

both are similar in specs. any difference between wilson blx six one 95 (2012) and pro staff 95 (2014)? I am looking to get either one

do you mean the 6.1 95 or the Pro Staff Six.One 95? (The one without gold accents or the one with gold accents)

I have both of them and they don't play similar. six.one is much more heavy, stable, and powerful. PS is more maneuverable. I like both, but prefer the PS more.

Six.One 95 (16x18) has more Power, Pro Staff more Control and Maneuverability. I won't compare them on the Feel department because I never hit with the 2014 Pro Staff 95, but 2012 vs 2012 the Pro Staff was softer but somehow also gave me a better feedback (I had a better idea of how well/bad I hit the ball and in which part of the stringbed). Incredible dwell-time, also. I also found it easier to generate Spin with the Pro Staff despite it having one more Cross, but that is very personal. Most prefer the 6.1 by a mile, as you can see I have a different opinion. Demo both, if you can.

I'm talking about the one with gold accent (2012) vs the red and white (2014). I was able to hit with the 2012 yesterday. 2014 has the parallel drilling. I was wondering what effect it will have on the racquet

2012: More muted, flexy feeling, feels like it has more dwell time.

2014: More crisp, stiff, and direct in response.
