I have just purchased the Burn 95 from TW Europe without demoing. What can I expect from this frame? How does it compare to the RF97?
I haven't used many extended length frames before, how much difference does the length of the racket have on serves and ground strokes? Its a beast.. a Pure Drive Plus with control in a 95 inch head...I love mine..
I haven't used any previous versions of this frame but it sounds like I'm going to enjoy it.I've previously used the KTour 95 and it feels in line with it. It's a bit heavier and has more power to it, great all around frame.
Very nice, soft hitting racquet. How's the comfort and all around feel of the frame?
Not much love on the boards for this frame.

Yeah, 68 flex? Lol. You just have to try it. Those numbers don't mean anything. However, the Pure Aero and RF97 are stiff racquets. Consequently, they seem to have the most power. It's soft even at a 68 flex?
What other racquets would you compare it to as far as feel?
I've also got a PS90 at those specs, although the only mod I made was an overgrip. How would you compare them on serves? My current weapon is the PS90 modified to 335 SW and 365 static, I recently tried a friend's stock Burn and felt the swing weight was quite similar despite being much lighter. Definitely powerful stick, launch angles was also a lot higher than what I'm used to, but could be due to the balance or head size. Nonetheless, it was a decent stick as well, hope you enjoy yours.
Didn't get a chance to try serving as my friend wanted his Burn back pretty quickly since he found my PS90 too heavy. I'm now curious what made you go for the burn when you already have such a nicely spec'ed PS90?I've also got a PS90 at those specs, although the only mod I made was an overgrip. My actual stick of choice is the RF97, but I just love collecting rackets and the Burn was on sale.Didn't get a chance to try serving as my friend wanted his Burn back pretty quickly since he found my PS90 too heavy. Thanks for the great reply! I am used to a higher swing weight so hopefully I'll adjust to the balance pretty quickly.I think you'll like the feel of it, I have mine strung with Solinco Hyper-G and I like the muted stringbed, plus the frame produces ample spin. As others mentioned, it feels a bit softer than its RA indicates, but it still has good power. Though it took a bit getting used to the balance since it's not as headlight as my other frames. Cheers.
I would love to try Babolat RPM Blast Rough in this frame when it is released.next time go with a softer textured poly at 51 lbs
What was the specs of your burn 95? Got mine from TW europe today strung with RPM blast 18 @ 52lbs. It is 329 grams and only 2 pts head light (!) strung. I don't know how much more HH the burn 95 will become when strung on avarage but it can't be as much as 5 pts off from the stated unstrung balance? Bad QC i suppose. Haven't hit with it yet,but just by swinging it, it feels just as hefty as the RF97. Coming from a Pure Drive (non plus), this might be a little to much for me. Looking forward to try it anyways.I would love to try Babolat RPM Blast Rough in this frame when it is released.
Mine had an unstrung weight of 311 grams and an unstrung balance 11 head light. Wilson quality control is just all over the place. What was the specs of your burn 95? Also, mine, strung swingweight ~347 kg*cm^2
Haha, yeah. All of you better watch outThat's some serious bashing power!
The FST is ****. Because QC is a ****ing ****storm with all racquet brands, you will get a 11.8-12oz racquet with 315~SW and 8HL strung. That was my spec, anyway, I'd get a lighter racquet, maybe SV95 and just customize that. Because the racquet is lighter, you can add weight to it and get a higher SW than the Burn FST even if their static weights are the same.Could anyone compare the burn 95 to the burn fst 95?
similar?
