I tried v4 100S for half hour. I like the spin, and if I'm not wrong, it also offers good control. I didn't feel anything about stiffness.
The owner said he didn't feel that it's a racquet with so high an RA. I had a history of tennis elbow with Wilson Hyper Hammer 5.3. I never had any pain with Yonex DR98.
A few finesse shots were made with v4 that certainly couldn't have crossed the net with my current racquet. This alone is a life saver.
My current racquet is Head Gravity Tour. I like the precision, don't like the low launching angle and low power. 9 of 10 running and blocking 2HBH can't cross the net. I started to wonder if 18x20 is not for me. My previous racquet was Yonex DR98. The same running 2HBH at least crosses the net about 6 of 10 times.
I won't be buying the new v5 because of $. A few FST 99S are on the 2nd hand market (they say brand new). Apart from string pattern (FST 18x17, v4 18x16), do they play alike?
