I just received my second Graphite Matrix in the mail today. Both of mine are the black ones without the PWS- the latter one made in '86 (I think). The butt cap on the first one is distinctly different from that of the second one. One has the white background, a red W, a red (R) and Taiwan. The other buttcap distinctly resembles the even older ones put onto the woodies- just a white background with a red W. Also, on the one with the seemingly older buttcap, the pj is a little duller- the white is a little less white, and the black almost borders on a very dark gray. Do I have graphite matrices from two different batches/years? If so, do you know where my second one was manufactured (butt cap code HMS)?
