Wilson K Factor Kobra Tour???...Opinions??

Just noticed the price on the Wilson K Factor Kobra Tour,...i think they just dropped it,....and was checking the specs,....looks kind of interesting,....but in a search of these forums,...it doesnt turn up a lot,...I'm guessing it didn't go over very big,..................anybody???....opinions on this stick???...or its 'lil brother the Kobra Team ???????? :-?

I've never personally played with it, but the general consensus seems to be it's just a bad APD clone attempt, so spending an extra 40$ on a APDC would probably be a better option if you were interested in that kind of racket.

It's very interesting, because of how low the stiffness is. With a thinner beam I'd buy one to try it but it's too thick for my liking.

It's okay, it has even less feel than the APD anyway.

Yeah,...that 'thick beam' is kind of a turn off,....i think it has to do with part of the 'fancy technology' ....(twin beam or something.....).....I did read somewhere that it seems slow to swing despite its low swingweight,....Doesnt sound like a 'top notch stick' you hear a lot about,.....eg the Redondo,...guess i'll just keep my sights on that....:-|

It's a great racquet! Not really my cup of tea, but it's definitely worth a try!

It is true that the Kobra Tour is Wilson's response to the APD. But even with the somewhat thick beam and the specs, it offers really great all-around racquet. Has loads of power, and the high amount of spin keeps in controlled.
