Wilson K6.1 95 18x20 Imitation?

I was wondering if anyone knew how to spot a fake Wilson K6.1 95. The main reason I ask is that it makes a sound every time I hit the ball as if it is made of metal. It makes a ping sound and I thought that these racquets were graphite and not hollow. Perhaps it isn't hollow and it normally should make this sound. Do any of you who have this racquet also hear a ping sound? Thanks...

Graphite rackets are also hollow. Some of them are filled with foam, but the graphite is just a hollow shell.

The pinging sound doesn't mean it's fake. Lots of rackets make that sound. It depends on the kind of string you use and the tension. Which string pings at which tension differs per racket.

A dampener should solve the problem. Or if you hit hard enough, you won't hear the ping at all.

That's good to hear...

Now that I think about it, I don't recall hearing it when hitting hard. I appreciate the knowledge about it being hollow. None of the other "fake attributes" are there, so now I am reassured it's real. Thanks...
