Quite nice, I must say.
Quite expensive, I must say.
The sad part is that people will actually buy this.
I heard it will increase your spin RPM's by at least 2000 if your racquets stay in there for over a day.
What's the sad part?
It's made to be bought and used.
It looks like a bowling ball bag.
Looks sharp. A little too sharp.
"Look! It's Raph!"
Another vanity product for people who have more money than they know what to do with. I bet you won't see any top 100 player walking on the court with that.
I bet you might see a 3.0, country club, 50 + woman walking to the court with one.
That's a fitting line. Though I must say, Roger would be sharp as a tack carrying this at Wimbledon.
You won't see a top 100 player with the leather bag because the companies pay them to advertise what the company wants to sell the masses for the season.
The companies make WAY more money getting tens of thousands of people buying $60 bags than a handful of people buying $600 bags.
I bet the 3.0 country club 50+ woman makes a one-time purchase in a decade whereas some 4.0 wannabe dudes buy a new bag every year. Same amount of money spent.
I take it back. No woman would be caught dead on court with the six-pack.
She'd spend $85 on the Milan:
Save the leather six pack for the 50+ Indiana Jones court rats.
The three pack is nice. I wonder if they'll get that nice broken-in leather look with time and use.
Your conventional red Wilson bag just fades and falls apart with time and you're forced to get a new one anyway.
Awesome bag. Wait for the closeout.
damn that's expensive
Your racquets will be stinkin hot in there.
Well, I meant the style, not the price.
I'm sorry, but $600...
I won't be buying this bag. Yes, it's somewhat out of my price range, but I do appreciate Wilson's ambition to create what appears to be a higher end product than the garbage that passes as a bag in our sport. If I had $600 to spend on a bag, and if the bag met all my functionality needs, I'd rather buy one of those and use it for the next 10 years, instead of the crap-tastic, giant logo-infested, $60 monstrosities that we end up re-buying every year or so.
I concur, I really like the clean, classic look of the bag. Being that it's leather, it should last a lifetime.
Even for leather that's very expensive, so you're paying for exclusivity.
I heard it even has separate storage compartments labeled "ascot" and "monacle".
This bag looks beautiful, it has a very vintage look to it. This bag would go perfectly for Wilson ps85, kps88 and 90 users. I like how you can customize the shoulder strap with your name if you want too.
It says on the wilson site that its made from full grained pebble leather, tanned antique leather, and kevlar reinforced nylon. The description also says its crafted from full grain heavy native Texas steer leather.
I wonder how long it lasts, it might be $600 bucks but if it lasts 10 years that's very good. I wonder what it smells like.. like if its that strong leather smell of a wallet or more of a faint leather smell..
Why pay $600 for that Wilson when you can pay $475 and get this from Traci bags:
Exclusivity? I GUARANTEE that nobody else will have one of these babies. FYI, the name of the bag is "Giant Giraffe"
That bag's hideous. The only people that would look good with that bag are the WTA hotties all wind-machined, backlit, and glistening wearing swimwear.
The only thing leather on it are the braided straps and the tassel.
I think the above mentioned Wilson bags would look good in black or burgundy leather as well.
I do believe that is the ugliest bag I've ever seen, but you are right; the only way it would be acceptable is to draw as much attention as possible away from it.
Wow thats one ugly bag, that's probably the ugliest tennis bag I ever saw. The only thing I would do with that bag is open it to take a dump in it.
The wilson leather bag is nice, if it wasn't so expensive I'd probably consider buying it. On the other hand if it lasts 10 years then it might be a good purchase in the long run.
Is Gasquet using this bag at the australian open?
I saw it for a brief momet so can't be sure but his bag very much like this one.
A leather bag that sits out in the sun for hours at a time isn't going to be around in 10 years. Or 2.
NICE - added to my wishlist! Now it just need to drop in price..
