Wilson NXT Duo 2

I am thinking about ordering the new Wilson NXT duo 2 string as i really liked the first NXT Duo but i was wondering which string i should put in the mains and which in the crosses as it comes with Luxilon Adrenaline and Wilson NXT.

With this combination, I doubt that its make as much difference as with other strings.

Adrenaline is such a relatively poor string at 'biting' into the ball and generating spin even at 18 gauge.

Ultimately, its up to you as to what you prefer on your groundstroke - the crisper feeling Adrenaline or the softer feeling NXT. NXT is a nice comfortable feeling string to have in a hybrid, but it does lose tension fast.

most common set-up probably lux on the mains and nxt in the cross - maximize durability and spin. of course there are people that like the softer strings in the mains - fed.

Adrenaline like most poly have a high inital loss of tension, but quite stable afterward. NXT has constant loss of tension. So I would put Adrenaline on main, and string it 2-4 pounds higher than NXT.

I think Adrenaline loses a lot more tension than NXT over time and personally i would string the adrenaline several pounds looser than NXT. Generally want polys 10% or so looser than what you normally string multi or syn gut strings

Adrenaline would lose quite a bit of tension before it stabilize, after that it will keep the tension better than multi. As for multi like NXT, it will lose more tension than adrenaline after a few hours of hitting. So stringing adrenaline at higher tension will allow the string to have a more even setup after some hitting. Of course if u restrung often do whatever u want.
