Wilson NXT Max 16 or Babolat Xcel 16

Hi, Everyone.

I need a multifilament string as crosses to soften my Luxilon ALU Power Rough 16 mains. Wilson NXT max 16 and Babolat Xcel 16 are available in my place. Which one would be better for the job?

Thanks

Have you tried soft SG crosses? Both of the strings you mention are excellent but IMO in your application their full potential/benefits will not be felt. I question the price/value benefit. Are you using full ALUR now, or another hybrid? I recently used Forten Sweet crosses with Blue Gear mains -- worked out beautifully.

In my case, I have developed an expensive and rather unfortunate taste for natural gut.

To lower the cost of poly (m) - gut (c) hybrid, I have tried substituting high-end multis for gut on the cross. But it is not the same. I can definitely feel the difference.

Whoever said the cross only constitutes 20% of the feel obviously do not share my level of sensitivity.

LOL. I would not go so far as "unfortunate", but I share your affliction. On my own sticks I play full VS Team. The thing about NG is it does *everything* right, durability excepted for some people. There is no going back. :-)
