I have been playing with this string for some time and I love it.
However, I break them too quickly and they are expensive.
I prefer softer strings, 17 gauge, any suggestions? Thanks.

Gamma Live Wire XP 17 is pretty durable for a multi and is very soft. It doesn't hold it's tension as well as NXT Tour though. The original Wilson Sensation and Head Max Comfort are good strings in this category that are soft, but are much cheaper.

The new Prince Premier is very cushy, very easy on the arm. I don't really care for them, they did last though. I think I played 8 sets with them using a string breaking MORE stick. I cut them out before they broke. They did not lose much power either.

They have too much pop for me but others that I know seem to like them.

Regular Live Wire 17g is an excellent deal now at TW. It's just about as good as the premium versions of Live Wire, but only 8 bucks a set. Spend more and get LaserFibre XRC Phenom or LF Pro Stock, both of which are superb and hold tension very well. Some folks really like LF Supreme, which is cheaper; I haven't tried it.

Among the inexpensive strings, Gosen OG Sheep Micro 17g is a great value, and the Super version is real good for about a buck more.
