Anyone has any details on the new six one 95 v14? is it the same layup as the v13? or is it another layup? possibly the nCode (333 grams unstrung)?

oh was just hoping for another layup of the 6.1. The v13 (HPS) is good, but just a tad bit underpowered imo. Thank you for the reply!

I saw on IG that Pro Labs will be releasing a Pro Staff v14 16x19 version. Anyone have any info on this and what the layup would be? Might be as close to the 16x18 as we can get!

It will most likely continue to be the Hyper ProStaff 6.1 with 16x19 pattern

If it's the Hyper mold, that would be amazing. By far my favorite of the line. Just seems strange that they would go that route as opposed to the tried and true 16x18.

Ah yes, peak affordability.

Buddy of mine helped me get 3 of the v13 Pro Labs Six One 95's for $450 all told.

I agree and endorse that approach

Never ever buy a current model frame. Previous years model, New Old Stock or Clean Classics are where its at. New frames typically pretend to be good but in many cases the best of the line has already come out a few years before.

Thankfully for the industry their marketing approach works and many players and posters just blindly endorse new frames ad though they are all magically better although at best they could be marginally better. Or feel better because they look better or feel better because of the nonstop marketing and recommendations.

I hope you're right. I've been wanting then to do this for years.
I looked at it again and it's actually the Pro Labs Pro Staff 100 v14 that's the 16x19. Six One 95 is still only produced in 18x20. I am curious to know what the layup will be for the 100 even though it's probably a pass for me.

Makes sense - the Six One 100 is in the regular lineup, they just sell it in the Pro Labs section too (bc it is the Pro Staff mold) but it is a new layup with the updated tech afaik unlike the 95 which is the HPS

the v13 seemed to be 331 gram unstrung vs 333 gram for the v14 according to the website. Anyone familiar with six ones history care to elaborate?

Also, does the v14 comes with the leather grip now? The v13 is their regular synthetic grip.

the racquet still says 331 so may just be a typo or round up on the website (their QA is so variable, best to take it as a vague idea than an actual weight anyway haha) - and no its the same synthetic leather coloured grip on the normal v14s

Does anybody know what’s the real beam with of the six one 95 v 14? Cause in Wilson’s specs shows 21.59 mm and in other like TW in Australia and tennisnerd shows 21mm which is the beam width of six one v13. Hopefully de v 14 is also 21mm otherwise will be a big mistake. Anything wider than 21mm is a racket with no loving feeling to me.
