Ah, thanks. That first one is pretty great. A bit heavier than I'd like but I could get away with 3-4grams of lead at 12 on that one. The Wilson lottery is half the fun anyway, lol.

I measured TW at 13.15. So yeah 13, about the same as yours. But this is after all the lead I put on it. Surprised it’s 13 but I don’t really understand where TW makes sense for me and where it doesn’t. I know above 14 is not what I like as a few frames I hit in the past are like that and they felt slow. But TW is a bit like neutrinos. I know it’s there but what the F does it mean for how I play. Lol, I reallly can’t correlate it.

However, the best method for me usually - specially if I'm just experimenting and not 100 per cent sure yet - is to get the XTP extension (to be noted: it only comes in .25.) You knows wrong. XTP comes 1/2 or 0.5...

In this post the racket buyer had 3 racquets at same SW approx but 1 whole point different in TW. They reported that is was harder to swing. Yes it's not a UP but idea is the same.
Was quite surprising as all the attention goes to SW but lower TW at same SW seems have a HUGE impact on playability if you are not Thor himself.

Same. I have 2 now, 4 more coming. It's my new weapon of choice for the foreseeable future!
But Wilson's website is hot garbage. The code doesn't work if I'm logged in. It didn't work if I had more than 2 frames in my bag. My guess is the code is limited use or they blocked it from my account for using it a total of 4 times.
But as of yesterday, the UP18 is $124.50 without any coupon as part of their Halloween sale.

I just discovered they have a Military/First Responder/Healthcare discount. I signed up, got verified quickly, and discovered that the Military discount of 15% apparently supercedes sales (So I only see 15% off an on-sale item instead of 50% off). So I just emailed them to let them know that their discount programs result in higher prices for their customers. Hopefully they fix it!
They won’t fix it. They recalled one of my UP18 orders, it arrived back at Wilson on Monday. They still can’t figure out how to process the refund since the site didn’t refund it.

I have 2 orders still processing. One of a bunch of grommets, a blade, and 2 more UP18s. and another of 2 UP18s. So now I'm a bit worried I might not end up with them.
Yep, made it to destination hub, then they recalled it via UPS for incorrect website pricing. The first day of the sale the site was a little nutty and about 80% off. All orders made that day went back. We’ll see if they figure it out. If not I’ll just file a complaint with my card be they can argue over it. When I reached out the CS guy didn’t know what to say except they had a lot of shipments coming back and were unsure how to process them

So it sounds like they recalled it from a pricing error? I'm feeling better as I confirmed with a rep yesterday that the sale price had dropped (I requested a price match) and they said they can't do that, and that the current price of $125 was effective as of yesterday as part of their latest sale.
So hopefully I get my orders.

Same result here. They delivered the ones I ordered after the error. The originals ones generated a ship notice but looks like were diverted back to origin. Didn’t see a refund after 5 days so I emailed and they handled it pretty quickly after that.
Any update on the grommets?

I really don’t think the spec matters as much on these vs the BP where it can matter a lot. As long as you have a lot of lead, you can get to where you want with the UP. That’s good and bad, I pity someone without a Briffidi trying to set one of these up

Yeah that was me with the UT when I first got it. Matched it to my Blade by feel basically, SW ended up at 335. Unstrung target SW for me is going to be around 302, and I'd like to keep static weight as low as I can.
The 16x19 UP was LOWWWW. Mine was in the 270s unstrung SW. I am hoping for a little more. Should see rather soon.

Mine came in with decent specs. 306 grams and 281 SW. adding 6 grams under the top bumper got the SW to 299 and 331 strung with 18 gauge. This will work for me. 334 grams with og and a 6 pts hl balance.
Will hit with it tomorrow and see how I do. I can always pull out the blade pro if needed. My BPs swing around 332-334 so not much different, just lighter weight.
It looks super clean with no visible lead.

The UT/UP with 18g is a brilliant beast. I had 48lbs HyperG/Ghostwire I am going to drop to 45 lbs next time around.

Package got delayed and came in last night. Nope they are not 18x20 grommets. The bag doesn’t even have string pattern listed. But the throat bridge piece only has six holes not eight.
So sounds like you got entirely wrong grommets then?

Played with the UP 18x20 for a bit today but the 1.18 durafluxx was pingy in it. I think I screwed up the crosses as I cut the mains short and pulled them out after not having enough length to tie off, and used them as the crosses, which probably was a bad Idea.
But I still am thinking I may try silver 7 tour in this. That was my old setup in the UT and it goated.
Early thoughts, the frame is very easy to serve with and swings very light. I can see how adding more SW to it makes sense. I played my UTs a little heavier at 335, but that said I was able to get a lot of control off the ground with it at 331 SW and serves were awesome. But I just didnt have my usual touch with the frame and my partner was pretty competitive so after dropping the first set I went back to my Blade Pro and all was well. I really missed that gooey feel and booming power from the BP.
That said the Ut took a while for me to gel with so I already know the deal with these frames. Just have to keep using them for a while. Also I need to restring it anyway because those crosses did not do it justice.

I was supposed to have a match this morning but the guy had to cancel. It’s the second time, and I am getting impatient but I think he is coming out of Covid.
Anyway hit with someone else and it didn’t count so I wanted to mix in the BP and UP. It’s 100% clear to me the BP suits me better. But I still enjoy the UP too. Great frame to fk around with but when it’s time to get at it there is just more weaponry and joy in the BP feel.
I think string choice is more important in the UP also. I need to mess around with that, will watch for your feedback on S7T. I’ve been meaning to pick up some packs for ages and the UP will kick me over to buy some if it crispens things up for you.

Yeah S7T worked so well in the UT I should have just stuck with it. Thin string, gives a higher trajectory and a crisp feedback really quite good stuff honestly.
Wondering if Jgads saying the 1.18 Durafluxx is pingy is correct also in my case, or I just screwed the string job up. Well I have the DF 1.23 as well so maybe that's the winner for me.

These things are racket dependent quite often. I think the BP is more ‘string forgiving’ than the UP, for sure. Heck, I really like Revolve Spin in the BP and it looks great too. I think I could put weed whacker line in it and goat. UP is a bit more finnicky.
