So, I asked Wilson specifically which grommets to order for the Ultra Pro 18X20, since the ones I ordered originally were mislabeled and 16X19. They pointed me to a product listing, I ordered it, and got 16X19...

That's exactly what happened to me. Just order the V4 16x19, they'll be the correct ones for the 18x20

That's what's weird - the listing they pointed me at was the 16X19 version, and they in fact were 16X19... So, probably they fixed the mixup and I just need to order the 18X20...

I ordered the 16x19 grommets, too, hoping to get the 18x20, but I haven't gotten around to opening the box yet. Fingers crossed here that they sent me mixed up ones lol.

lol so of course when I ordered 18x20 grommets I got 16x19 grommets, and now that I have ordered 16x19 grommets, I get 16x19 grommets. JFC.

You too? Seriously regret getting rid of my pair. In hindsight, and with a customized mind, I see it was the hybrid I had in them I hated. Loved the frame. I should have depolarized the frontal lobe years ago.

And I want my grommets back, haha.

Well, see I umm, grommets? Hahaha. I hope at some point I can order 16x19 grommets and get 16x19 grommets. You really bailed me out when it was my main though!

For the frame, I let it go right around the time I got the briffidi. I had already ordered the MPL so once I found out my swingweight was way too low I had already commuted to sell them (measured the day I mailed them out). I will definitely give them another try, even if I don’t make the switch back. Looking at my records I’ve tracked for the last 18 months, even though I didn’t feel I was hitting as well as I could with them I did win more.

Last time, Wilson told me to order the 16X19 to get the 18X20, and that did not work, so they told me to order the 18X20, which I did, and I got the 16X19. So, apparently it's a heads they win, tales we lose kind of situation here.

Same here but reverse order. Giving it one more shot by ordering 18x20s. We’ll see how that goes.

Custy rep told me that the V4 grommets are supposed to be V3 ones, and the listings for the string patterns are also still screwed up pending correction.

I chose UP(18/20) because UP(16/19) has 6 holes in the bridge and UP(18/20) has 8 holes.

Incredible. My "18x20" grommet order is arriving tomorrow. This is after I ordered 18x20 initially, got 16x19, then ordered 16x19 and got 16x19. Fingers crossed...

I did. But I was also patient zero at discovering their mess and it was a giant multi week headache.

And this was about a month ago. This is sad that they haven't fixed it yet

They have plenty of those.... I think if you place a random order for anything wilson, they might include some 16X19 grommets at this point... They did tell me that they should have it resolved by mid January, but I don't have much faith in that given what they told @naturalexponent

On a more fruitful note, I am loving Wilson Sensation 17 at 52 in the mains and Gosen OGSM 17 at 54 in the crosses. Just great all around performance and feel, and about 6 hours in, not much string movement.

I'm not a spin-meister by any means, but it seems quite good to me. I get more kick with Cyclone 19, for sure, but after adjusting for a bit, I hardly notice that. I'm definitely more of a flat hitter, but it generates a nice tight, driving spin, which is, for me, where the UP18 shines the most anyway. And the feel is just so good. I'm going to try a few more multis out also, with gosen in the crosses.

Tonight I played a couple more sets of singles, and got to try out Gosen AK Pro CX 17 in the mains (52lb) with the OGSM 17 in the crosses (54). Same setup as sensation, and it also played great. Hard to say which I like more. The gosen AK perhaps? It is a great string, on first hit. Need to give it more time, but I am really digging this. So fun to just blast away, the feel is amazing, but the control is also there.

I'll just say that my Artengo is collecting dust, while the UP18s are in my bag, and I don't see that changing any time soon... Artengo is fine, but not in the same league, for me.

Yeah it’s a nice one to have, esp as a huge Monfils fan. I’ll be going into this weeks matches with 3 UP18, nothing else in the bag.

Was told mid jan by a Wilson customer service rep, maybe 6 weeks ago. I don’t put any weight into this timeline though as they have misled me before

I'm amazed by home much I like the V3 paint. And, it's so much more durable than the original Ultra Tour. Quite nice.

It’s lovely. I like the v8 blade paint too, but it’s splitting hairs
