Wilson pro staff 97 no longer being made?

I’ve had to choose between the pro staff 97 and the pro staff 97 with countervail. Pro staff 97 without countervail sounds like a better option but is it worth buying a racquet if I’ll eventually have to just switch if I need a new one? Is the cv version really that much more muted and disconnected? I’ve been using a pure aero and I’ve never had tennis elbow or injuries but it is a very comfortable racquet. I planned on putting solinco tour bite 16L at 48 on the non cv version. Would that still work or should I try something else?

I don't think countervail will be the only option in the future, in fact, I think it will fade away like all the other marketing ploys in the racquet world.

Do you know if the pro staff 97 without countervail is being discontinued or if Wilson is still making it?

I found out that my Pro Staff 97 CV is a quarter inch shorter than my old Pro Staff. Can anyone measure their PS 97 CV and find out its length? Mine is 26 3/4 inches long. My older Pro Staff is 27 inches.
