Any update on the Wilson pro staff 97 2020?
I heard that they are going back to the non countervailing version and that it.
someone said they are going to discount the pro staff line once Federer retires

Maybe they will ship a Standard Pro Staff in 18x20 with more linear spacing. That'd put me in my happy place.

Why does the whole P/S series have to be 16x19? Many (?all) of the other brands provide an 18x20 frame or two in their 97/98 sq^in lineup.

One can hope <fingers_crossed>.

Wilson already has two 18x20 options in their lineup:

Wilson Blade 98 18x20
Wilson Ultra Tour 97

Those are not new, they are (unstrung) the old black and red pro staff (non CV) with the all black PJ, now been sold to replace the 97CV, and a cheap pre strung racquet made to resamble Fed's racquet.

Any idea when pro staff will be updated?
Any idea if specs will change? What will be the new specs?

You got me there, and I even own a UT97, but my subtext (which I should have stated) was "an 18x20 in the original flagship line that has a mid+ RA".

I like the Ultra Tour but I'm beginning to favor firmer frames and the Pro Staff (66 RA) is right where I like things at this point in my game. I admit to not having played the 18x20 Blade, but at 62 RA it's probably going to feel too soft for my tastes atm.

p.s. Wilson really needs to rethink their whole graphical theme. Not only are they boring stylistically, but the ones with bright colors on the sides of the hoop are bothersome to the eye (just ask RF).

I don't think the Pro Staff Line will be updated.

First, the people who likes Pro Staff wants the traditional feel Pro Staffs are know for. Second, people wants the same color scheme as Roger Federer uses. The black RF97A is still a best seller and the black and white RF97A didn't sell very well.
