Wilson Pro Staff v15

Djinn

Semi-Pro
To my knowledge, v13 was released late 2020, v14 early 2023. So v15 should be coming up sometime next year? I doubt there's any news on it yet, but if anyone has anything, please feel free to share.

As you respond to your own question, no info yet and still waiting for Clash and Ultra next year so.... Yeah, nothing until fall of 2025

@RNBABOLAT , I guess @Djinn was hoping for some insight or anticipation from Wilson insiders that may be hanging around here - come on, guys, don't be shy! We love spoilers!
Usually insiders can see the catalog one year prior the release, in that case we might see something close to the start of the 2025 summer. Considering we already can't see at least the paintjob of the Ultra I would'nt hold my breath for any info about Pro Staffs

if any whatsoever
I very much doubt they're going to dump the ProStaff any time soon, Interestingly on Wilson's site - sorted by best selling, the ProStaff X, Six One 100 and 97 are only below the RF, Blade Pro and Shift line

Those best sellers can be altered to suit whatever Wilsons marketing team wants to push for sales. At least my old retail company I worked with cooked those top seller lists all the time.
EDIT: Of course they could be right. PS X receives pretty bad reviews, but the average player might not read those, and like the racquet still. There are a lot of old school PS players who have to move towards more forgiving racquets.

Compared to the RF line?
I did not play with RF97. It would be too demanding for my age already.
I love Pro Staff 97 for its forgiveness and stability having moderate weight.
I started to play tennis on regular basis, using Pro Staff Tour 90 in 2003. This is a racket's line, that my muscle memory was supplied with :)

will they bother or give it a rest? seems like the blade does the traditional players frame, ultra and RF lines the modern players so there doesn't really seem a lot of room for it. I don't see many around at all

Would be awesome to see a Prostaff RF97A v15. When Wilson released the LE RF97A it sold-out pretty quickly online. I tried the RF Pro and RF 01 and it was not for me. The Prostaff v14 had great touch and slice, but I really miss the weight the RF97A has.

Blade is a more modern player’s frame IMO. For example it suits my game whereas the PS and RF don’t. Don’t have the strength or mass

The best modern Pro staff is actually Blade Pro- same box beam and thickness, more forgiving, more power at lower static and amazing feel. The problem is the Head Heavy stock balance which the typical Pro Staff user is not accustomed to.
If they want to sell v15 good I hope they bring back a black preferably glossy color... no more stupid paint jobs for this line please.

I found the PS easier to use than BP. Easier spin and much better maneuverability. BP has better feel and more plow but impractical to use in match for my level

Which limited edition was this? One of the Laver Cup paint jobs?

I agree I switched from a rf97 to blade pro 16x18. Softness much better on my shoulder and you still get that stability/plow through

sounds like a personal problem and not indicative of either racquet. i have a heavy topspin, fast swing and the pro staff 95 is perfect for me. the blade not so much. again, preference.

lol, new user and already talking down to people here. Welcome

And I literally said “don’t have the strength or mass”, so I’m not sure what bubble you think you’re bursting. Dick

Did you see it? I am just surprised there are no photos yet. I play with the 97 V14 and trying to plan ahead. I am in the minority that enjoys the current paint job.

I haven’t seen it but my very good friend who owns a tennis shop has when the Wilson rep came into their shop to show off the new products for 2026 so the description I made is 100% accurate.

The v14 is about 140USD equivalent in Canada. It’s on for a steal and really debating getting a couple more to stock as I don’t mind the color. Maybe QC v15 will be better as Wilson is trending that way. But there are Rumors of Wilson price jump. Regardless v14 just hits like a truck, love it every time i pick it up.

What's the supposed price jump?
