Wilson Pro Staff

So, I was looking for Wilson Pro Staff racquets and I found some but I am confused on the differences of these two. The ones that I found were the Wilson Pro Staff 100L BLX and Wilson Pro Staff Six.One 100 BLX. For 100L it says the word LITE, but on 6.1 it doesn't and it says six.one. The specifications for the rackets are the same. Is one more recent or anyone have an idea on the differences?

Thanks.

I believe the only difference is the paint job. All of the Pro Staffs in the BLX amplifeel line had updated paint jobs at a certain part of their release.

wow, i was just logging on to ask this very same, exact question.

can anyone else chime in here? are these the same racket?

I demo'd a pro staff six one 100 blx at my club and liked it quite a bit but the one for sale here is the pro staff 100L without the six one designation.

thanks in advance

The "Six-One" designation was last year's paintjob. This year's paintjob no longer has the "Six-One" designation.

Yes, they are the same racquet. The one that says "six.one 100" is the earlier paintjob and the one that says "one hundred" and "lite" is the later paintjob. There is no difference in anything other than the cosmetics.

I assume you know though that the 100 inch racquet is completely different than the 95 inch racquet. The 100 is noticeably lighter and stiffer and has a different balance.

Cheers,

T.

thanks for the replies!

yep, i'm aware of the diff between the 95 and the 100. looking for a lighter racket i can add a smidge of lead tape to and the 100 swings pretty nice imo.

cheers

Is there a reason why??

Basalt has been proven to provide rec players with more feel, enabling them to "experience what the pros feel."

This is why I look for sticks with the highest Basalt content possible. I want to feel what the pros feel on the court and in bed.

You got me. I was not expecting such a zinger.
