Wilson Pro Stock Line

The Ultra Tour was from a pro stock mold, but it didn't have a pro stock's layup. I'm fine paying more for true pro stock with a quality layup that's both solid and flexible feeling.

They better put at least H22 or azarinka’s H25 in this so called pro stock line. Otherwise it is just like head releasing another djokovic signature speed garbage.

Wilson did write that it'll be a launch, meaning it's a new line, so I'm sure it's Pro Stock. The big question is if it's pro stock in name only a la Head.
why would a launch mean it's a new line? you can't launch an updated line of rackets? i dont know..like maybe the one that's coming out 9/21?

the fact that people actually believe it's a pro stock line is ridiculous. the 6.1 18x20 is still a pro staff, and we're acting like the Ultra Tour was a huge seller which made Wilson want to release more "pro stocks". these were avialable for $85 new until recently and still barely sold. if it sold that well, they would make the Ultra Pro v3 available to the masses.

A little birdie told me we’re getting a pro stock blade, a re-released 6.1 95, and another “pro stock” with name to be announced but is the h22 mold. Unsure of how true all of this is, as that was told to me back in May.
First of all...
Don't do that. Don't give me hope.
Secondly, if that is true it sounds amazing!
And lastly if it turns out to be real, rip my wallet...

Edit1:I find it hilarious that your post has currently been "liked" by @gutfeeling and @myth :-D

Edit2: Is that the reason the last few days I've been seeing more H22's pop up for sale than I have ever seen before or am I just reading too much into it?

I'm hoping this new "pro stock" H22 won't be just another Ultra Tour. Made from the H22 mold, but not with a pro stock's layup.

I shall remain a skeptic as that is a little too many releases at once for Wilson probably.

I mean it's supposedly a Pro Stock line, but then again it's Wilson, so...
Yeah, but the SW Autograph 102 was also supposed to be actually used by Williams and even prior to its release we already know the drill pattern is different.

There's 1 positive though. Even if the H22 is like the Ultra Tour, people can finally have access to spare grommets which have been sold for tenths of USDs.

I think this is only a typo. But yes, we need the H22 and I am looking for a few. I am happy with my four Ultra Tours but I like my H22 more.

I doubt different layups will be available. With the ultra tour, Wilson probably attempted to pick a layup that would be friendly to the masses. People I’ve spoken to that haven’t played pro stock h19s really like the ultra tour/pro. I like it too and also enjoy lower flex pro stock h19s. Probably what they’ll do with this supposed h22, but the result could be different.

Color me interested. Since Wilson was dumb and didn't offer the UT in 16x19, they have a chance to redeem themselves with this H22 variant in a 16x19. We shall see .....

I also heard this a while ago from some random guy on FB so I don’t think it’s a typo. We’ll see what they release but I do think it will be a “pro Stock” line.

The ultra tour is a great frame. The obsession here with “pro stock layups” is hilarious.
Agreed! I guess I get the allure of the PT57A layup in different frames like Garin's radical hybrid frame if you played with and loved the feel of the PT630/57A but need something that gives you a bit more power. But really, it's hard to find a bad racquet out there right now. Just because I don't like the feel of something (every Babolat right now) doesn't mean it's a bad stick. Can I swing it fast and keep the ball in the court? Ok great. I'm sold. Good feel is just a bonus for me.

Yes exactly. And the feel of the UT is top notch as well. Wilson did an awesome job with that racquet.

I have original PT57a and Ultra Tour. I don’t get why UT didn’t do that well. UTis an amazing racquet with plenty of room for customization.
Wilson if you are reading this I stress again we need H22s !

I bought an ultra tour a few months ago when I saw them for $99 and figured why not. Added weight based on the forums recommendations and fell in love immediately. Having just bought 3 Pro Tour 2.0 before that assuming that was the perfect frame but ultimately was to heavy. As of last week I just purchased the Ultra Pro and think it’s a great update on the paint job. Heading out soon to play and hopefully they didn’t change anything with it. And the idea of Wilson bringing out actual pro stock molds and layups sounds awesome for us and them, I mean if you have the product and people want to buy it then what’s the problem.

Tbh I would like Wilson to improve their paint and specs quality first ...
But still h22 in stock form would be a 22mm 300 gr racquet that requires further customization and probably far from any pro layup.
H25 would be much more interesting as there is nothing similar to it currently in the market, APDish profile but low stiffness and 330 sw sounds like good more advanced tweener. Also without all these drive throat profiles like EZone and APD.

Wouldn’t mind a pro stock h22 in a new colourway....
with the release of new pro stock lines, let’s see the crumble (how..) of the current pro stock values in the secondary market.....
