Wilson Pro Stock Line

I will check when i get it back from the stringer. I know i popped it open when i first got it to check if there is foam or silicone. Only found foam but wasn’t looking for pin shape. You posted that picture and it was two regular blades not BP as you said.
Yep. Thanks!

Tested my two Wilsons H22 18x20 (around 61RA) along the other frames – also some Dunlop and Head prostocks. Well, for sure the most stiff racket feel-wise from the content of my today's bag.

Both of mine just got delivered.
The 18x20 is 307g
The 16x19 is 310g

I'm guessing the 18x20 is a keeper and I should try to swap the other one out?

Only 3gm static weight difference. That's nothing if you like the balance and swingweight.

Maybe a dumb question , but all things being equal, shouldn't a 16x19 weigh more than an 18x20 because of the difference in weight of the string? Isn't it basically a wash?

Ouch... that QC is still “bad”.
what are the other measurements for the 16x19? Will that work for you if you tinker abit?

I’d be delighted with both of those, but more important is if one swings noticeably heavier than what you will want. Of course difficult to gauge this without string. Don’t know, some reports of stability issues with the 16/19 (interestingly mirroring the v7 blade versions) would make me want to go with the 18m in your shoes and just see how it feels and swings (you tend to really love demanding sticks anyway) and see if the 16m version is then worth trying or returning.

I don't have a balance board or access to anything that can measure SW, etc.

Yeah, it's tough to tell without strings. I the 16/19 has stability issues maybe it's not a bad thing for that one to be a bit heavier.

I cannot conclude anything without at least balance.. weight and balance should give some indication to sw but obviously that's not really even reliable neither. You need to measure balances the least...

Well you can use edge of table to find balance point, put some marker and measure the distance. Or at least compare the two.

Used what I had to measure the balance as close as I could. From the end of the buttcap until the racquet starts to tip over. Is there a formula that can be used to determine SW from this?

The 18x20 is 307g Balance is 32 cm
The 16x19 is 310g Balance is 31.5 cm

Looks like custom painted IG Radical Pro to me.
You sure you third from right and not third from left? Grommet strip looks identical to IG Rad Pro for the blacked out frame.
Of course you are right! Good it happened on TT forum not in the car :)

It is very rare TGT260.2 YouTek Radical MP prostock with 16x19 string pattern. My favorite Radical prostock I guess. Thomas Berdych's frame when he moved from Dunlop to HEAD.
IG Radical Pro prostock is the one with Graphene XT Rad MP paintjob (2nd left) – non-CAP (hardest to find HEAD grommet) so very light uncustomised.

So jealous! Sounds like a very delicious frame! And bravo, overall a great collection, love it!

I think both of those are good. U look under specd than over. I am going to guess low 300s...

I see people are to lazy to read the threads so to sum up the state of our knowledge at this time...

These are only available through Wilson.com.

Mold wise:

H22 = Blade Pro (available in 16x19 and 18x20)*
H19 = Ultra Pro (available in 16x19 and 18x20)*

* - the hairpin handle shape on the Blade Pro 16x19 and Ultra Pro 16x19 is not flat but octagonal, you won't be able to put Head pallets on those, as for the Blade Pro 18x20 at least 1 poster seems to have a closer to prostock harpin handle shape

Layup wise:
H22 = Blade Pro - according to some posters the feel is the same as in prostocks, we have no way of knowing for sure but testers think these are the same but they are foam filled
Ultra Pro 16x19 - we don't know, the racquets haven't shipped yet**
** - exception being Australia (courtesy of @Classic-TXP-IG MID )

Specs QC:
Blade Pro - typical Wilson QC (non existent), the specimens are usually over advertised specs - heavier, less HL and so on...
Ultra Pro 16x19 - the racquets haven't shipped yet but there's no reason why the QC should differ in comparison to the Blade Pros so brace yourselves

Grommets:
H22 = Blade Pro - the grommets WON'T fit as the drill and spacing, at least on the 16x19, is different in the lower hoop in comparison to the prostock counterpart***
H19 = Ultra Pro - the grommets should fit as the drill and spacing are the same on both 16x19 and 18x20 as on their prostock counterparts***
*** - the grommets are supposed**** to be available only through Wilson.com at the end of the year (2020) or the beginning of the next (2021)
**** - some doubt that they ever be available because they were supposed to be on sale on the 10th but the date was pushed back - we call this Grommet Gate ;)

If only this could be stickied so every 10th post isn’t someone asking where they can find the racquet for sale.

Looking forward hear about the Blade Pro and Ultra Pro racquet reviews! Finally came out but on Wilson‘s website, I cannot breakout the maze of the Wilson racquet selection Q and A selection section to actually buy the racquets! I will call Wilson on Monday!

You could edit to say only 16x19 UP hasn’t shipped yet. 18x20 has been out in the wild for a while and is same layup as previous Ultra Tour. I can verify this as I have both and hit them back to back.

We should "all of us" ask Wilson to release grommets ASAP, and available worldwide.
Lol..sorry not trying to annoy or anything but they know I’m sure. Sometimes ramping up production comes at a cost of immediate vs delayed especially these factories in China produce for several makers with different priorities. I am sure the grommets you have will survive till end of year or early next year. Don’t worry and remember, we are even dealing with a pandemic that is disrupting many things. Just adding perspective that’s all not defending anyone.

On the european Wilson website you can not order grommets and the customer service has no clue with these pro lab frames... It would be worth it to make them understand that we need grommets in Europe!
