They don't. 6.0 are squared shaped, 6.1 are oval. I have both, I played extensively with both, I know I'm saying. And I asked Wilson, for good measure.I think 6.1 16x18 ones should fit, but finding them is another issue. For now individual or fankensteining the grommets might be the cheapest option
Loved the feel & precision of the PS90 but was getting better performance with my HPS 6.1 95. I absolutely hate its hollow feel though. So I started a search for a flat/box beam frame with similar specs to my HPS and discovered the 6.0 95, with the added bonus of having the best pro staff PJ.
Managed to get a pair second hand and eagerly awaiting my next session to give it a go. Added 3g at 12 o clock to up the swing weight. 350g static, 9 HL, 330sw strung. Perfect strung specs for me on paper.
Can’t wait to hit with them! Really hoping I will get something akin to the PS90 feel.
PS 6.0 95 has been my favourite racket for a long while now, I sold all the modern rackets I had and sold the classic rackets with smaller head sizes and the POG OS which felt great but gave up to much in the serve. I just picked up a PS 6.6 Stars and Stripes to use as a backup to the 6.0 95, will be interesting if I like the stiffer frame and denser string pattern over the 6.0, I haven’t tried it yet but so far it feels a bit heavier and swings a bit slower. The 6.0 has a leather grip and over grip so maybe a bit more headlight than the 6.6 I have, so I’ll try and tweak them to be more similar.
The PS tour classic 95 (6.6) has a more HH balance and feels heavier to swing compared to the 6.0 95 (same goes for the 85’s btw) with less vibrations on off-center hits. I’d describe the feeling as if the frame holds up better on strikes outside the sweet spot and has overall a slightly more powerful and stiffer but at the same time more dampened/muted response compared to the 6.6 so I did not find it harsh in any way. I'd say it's horses for courses regarding which one suits a certain player better. The feel of the 6.6 i would describe as inching more towards the head classic prestiges (not the same at all but more in that direction) given the more dampened response compared to the lively and very pure feel of the 6.0. Overall to me the 6.6 plays a bit more forgiving and less maneuverable than the 6.0 but not night and day different.
Share your impressions when you have compared them - preferably if you can string them w the same (or at least) very similar strings
As long as that is not one of the Jr noodles becuse they would probably have to forfeit becuse the model is broken as in the frame broke.Well, I guess skills are the keys to winning instead of the racket.A 5.0 player would probably wipe me out with a cheap racket from Wal-Mart.
