Wilson Prostaff question

Pro Staff name will continue on even without Federer. They survived without Sampras, Courier and Edberg. The RF97A may go away or be renamed. That's what my Crystal Ball says. Wilson's Crystal Ball may be different now that they are owned by another company.

Pro Staff will stay and probably get the flexy treatment the clash and blades have. RF97 will probably get some sort of penultimate Fed edition so they can get one last astronomical cash grab from him before he calls it quits.

Does TW know if Wilson plans on delivering an updated version of the ProStaff in the near future?
If you like one of the current ProStaff models I would stock up on it, it's likely to fall in quality with future releases...

I bought 15 frames of the 2015 ProStaff 97S while they were on sale :)

We haven't heard anything official yet. However, we will be meeting with them in mid November so we should have a better idea then.

Thanks,
Brittany, TW

The 2015 ProStaff 97 is the best. I have 3 of them. But they're getting old and I need to either find some new old stock or hope for a new version from Wilson. The last two versions Wilson put out were junk.

I just spoke to a Wilson rep today. He told me that Wilson will ne dropping a new ProStaff early next year. He said that the specs were going to be exactly the same. When I asked if the material layup was going to change he said that he wasn't sure.

I love that racquet the 2015 model. The paintjob and the racquet itself are amazing. I have a couple of those racquets too and wish that was still same racquet being produced.
