Wilson QC Improving?!

I am asking this question because I am pleasantly surprised by the two blades I ordered. I was just too lazy to ask for racquet matching service after i decided i needed another blade 16x19 bc I would of had to break down my first blade to give TW the specs.Soooooo, I didn't. Just put a TW leather grip on my new one strung it up with the same strings and got out the scale and balance board while ready to be disappointed. But I was not! Both are 334 grams strung. Now, one has a balance of 32.3 and the other 32.4 but that's close enough for me! Maybe they're turning things around in the quality control dept.!

Strung weight for my two is 327g and 325g and a few points between balance. Not bad.
A few points between balance?

That's terrible.

Do you realize that it takes about 5 grams to change 1 point of balance? So if you have two frames that are a few points apart, that means they're like 15 grams out of balance from each other. That's horrendous QC.

Sorry...decimal points, not full grams.

I dont know if anyone else has these problems I have heard of. I have 2 friends who exclusively use the RF97A. Both are 12 to 13 UTR and have shared experiences without knowing each other. Both have told me about how the grips just seem to squeak and break eventually. Right in the middle of matches the buttcaps will separate or the actual frame will snap. Crazy. For a 240$ frame why do us consumers have to deal with that kind of BS. The profit margins must be insane, yet we get cheap crap. Idk

[/sarcasm] Go Yonex! That's assuming the player continues to play at a high level, which ain't a given. [/end sarcasm]

Don't know if they are improving, will be interesting to see how they go with this year's Laver Cup version of the RF autograph coming soon.

Same for me. Bought 4 racquets, from 3 different places and all weighed the same, balance was also the same on 3 of them and like a millimeter different on one.

Even a blind squirrel finds a nut sometimes... Wilson’s QC is embarrassing at best.
I used to think so as well with my experiences with the RF97A and prostaff 95s. However, my blade experience has me wondering is it coincidence, wilson effort, or a blade line thing...?
