***Wilson Racquet Owners Club!!!!!***

Um, check out the K Blade 98, K Six-One 95, K Tour, Kobra Tour, K Blade Tour...

What's your game style? The above are all great racquets and some more info would help me to narrow it down for you:)

I am mainly a counterpuncher, but I can hit a big forehand. The pro open is nice, but it just doesn't have enough feel, you know??? Thanks for the suggesetions

I use the K Six One 95 18x20. Love the feel at the net and easy power at the baseline and serves.

Also, I use Wilson Smiley Dampeners!

I recently switched from an aero pro to a [K]Blade tour i needed something with more [k]ontrol and more heft and got what i asked for. I LOVE WILSON sign me up I will post picks eventually

Yeah... try the Kobra Tour. That will probably work for you. If you want heavier, go with the K Blade 98 or K Blade Tour if you're good enough.

New convert from Prince......... signed and faxed a teaching pro contract with Wilson today......... will be sporting the K Factor 6.1 Team frame- love it!@

well... guess i'm sorta like a wilson user too... hehehe

ever since the wilson cobra series back then... then it was hyper hammer... then n codes... now k factor

Hey guys, I'm playing another tournament this weekend... That reminds me, does anyone have any Wilson tournament stories for us? Good experiences, funny things, etc.? Please share!!!!!!!!!

I gave my racquet to a 14years old boy,who plays in local tournaments and he likes it.His racquet is Ksix one team and was curious about this one.
We did a few hits and told me that it is heavy for him.I understood why after I tried to hit like him;his swingstyle is entierly made by his arm finishing with the elbow up;
Dont get me wrong, his shots were top shots, just that he has a verry tense arm from the begining of the shot to the finish.
When I tried to swing like him indeed the racquet felt heavy,I instead let the racquet inertia do the work and I can say I dont feel the heaviness.
I think I'll add some leadtape to the head becouse it felt a little light on fast paces balls.

Interesting... I think the racquet feels fine as well, very stable on fast shots for me though.

It's stable enough I dont complain, only I felt I could handle more weight(or swingweight) without decreasing my swing.

Ohhhhhh.... I get you. I have a match today... wish me luck! It's even more pressure than usual because I'm undefeated up till now.

:) congratulations
your k95 is stock form or did you add leadtape?
I was thinking of adding some lead,I've played with a hyperhammer 5.2 mp and I liked the heavy swingweight, the whoosh sound making in the air :)

Thanks:)

My k95 is actually stock form, even the grip is stock. I've only had it a month. I never saw the need to add lead but like you were saying I guess you want to.

I broke the other guy's strings on this one point... I hit this massive overhead and he put his racquet out to stop it with a drop shot. It hit his strings and just kept on going. He wasn't happy cause he had to switch to his backup racquet, which was a titanium oversize.

See the sig -- 3x KB98. Also have one brand new KBT (used to play with those), still in plastic, will keep it for my collection along with the PT630, iPrestige MP...

hey cool thread, i currently use the K Blade Tour, have 3 of them. used to use the ncode 95 and have 3 also

love the K Blade so much control and i can make my own power

hehe,what was his primary racquet?

A K90. So now you see his anger at switching racquets:)

It may be mean, but it was pretty funny. Wonder how much he spent to restring it? He's one of those traditionalists who swears by natural gut:twisted:

'Kay, I'll add you to the list of club members.

Yeah, the K Blade's a great racquet. I mean, I think the 98's too light but the Tour's fine. Kinda strange that the K Blade Tour is actually lighter than my k95:)

K Blade Tour is my axe, accompanied with some Wilson Pro Overgrip(perforated) and a nice Blade bag.

I love the Tour, i tried the 6.1 Tour but it was just a little too heavy for me to keep up the hard hitting groundies so the Blade Tour was def. for me.

oh got it strung with BBOr x wilson syn. gut

All riiiiiiight!!!!!! Seems a lot of our members like the K Blade Tour. Might be encouraged to try it myself.

Does anyone here have their racquet strung with Luxilon? Can anyone tell me how it plays/what level it's aimed at? I want to get some better strings than Wilson Stamina... :)

I think I understand what a Pure Drive Club or a Head Prestige Club is about -- those racquets have fairly distinctive characteristics -- but what, other than the W on the buttcap, is the unifying characteristic of Wilson racquets? The club is a group unified by decals. Is it an abiding belief in K-factor, whatever that is?

I guess it's the feeling. You have great feedback with a lighter racquet too(babolat style)you dont need to buy a heavy small head size racquet to have a good feeling with wilson.

It's the feeling. AND the ever-so-stylish W on the bottom:)
