Wilson Replacement Grips

Is there any chance you guys know the thickness of the Sublime and Pro Performance replacement grips?

I have a Pro Staff CV and a Blade 98 CV 16x19. Both are 3/8, but the Blade grip feels bigger. I was thinking it may be because the Pro Performance grips are thinner, and I'd like the Blade grip to be the same thickness. Is that what's causing the size difference?

Thanks in advance.... Dan

Hi Tiffani... That thread is the first place I looked. Unfortunately it had 3 different thicknesses listed for the Sublime, and none for the Pro Performance. I also posted a thread on the forum to see if anyone had any info on the Pro Performance grip, but no one did. I even emailed Wilson and never got a reply. I didn't think it would be this hard to find out how thick the grip is.

I play with a Head Graphene XT MP (grip size 3) but every time I try using an overgrip after about 3-4 hours the grip handle is much thinner and my whole style of game changes (much more spin on my shots but less depth ... which is not my normal playing style so this is quite frustrating for me.) I've experimented with different types of replacement grips and a combination of over grips but I seem to be having the same problem.

One solution is to increase the grip size from 3 to 4 but I've tried this before and the basic grip handle is too thick. I think I'm more of a 3.5 size. That being said I'm going to try changing my current replacement grip with Wilson Micro-Dry Comfort Replacement Grip which is 2.1mm and quite thick. Then I'll strap on a Yonex Super Grap and I should be OK. What are your thought/suggestions?

Sounds like you'd like the Gamma Hi-Tech (regular, not gel). It's 1.9mm, tacky, and firm with just the right amount of cushion. Bevel feel is great with it, and it maintains its characteristics longer than any other I've used, especially when covered with an overgrip.
