Wilson ROK

I am currently using the wilson rok and someone recently told me that wilson stole the head from ykonex??? i was wondering if that is true and if it is what model of ykonex are they trying to copy??? Also does anyone know a racket like the ROK with a little more open string pattern, or has anyone messed with the ROK and opened up the string pattern???

As most racquet heads tend to be more or less similarly shaped, just about every racquet could be looked upon as a copy of something else if you search hard enough for the same proportions. I'm guessing Wilson didn't break into the factory in Japan and steal the mold, or for that matter the blueprints. Further, the fact that Yonex racquets have the "isometric" shape that differs from every thing else on the market makes your friend's conspiracy theory sound vaguely pathological.

It's the nickname for an executive at Wilson, Ron Rocchi, I believe.

Either that or it's the "Republic of Korea". LOL.
