Wilson Six.One 95 18x20 (331-332g ish)

neat

New User
Hello all…I was wondering if anyone could chronologically list out the various generations of Six.One 95 18x20, ones with unstrung weight around 331-332g and with around 12 pt HL?

The latest one should be v14 Six.One 95. But how far back does the series trace back in time?

Any inputs would be appreciated. Thanks!

As far as I'm aware it should be the following releases:

1992: Pro Staff Classic (tour was the 18x20 model though it was considered a 6.6 and released in 1994)
2002-3: Hyper Pro Staff 6.1 95
2004-6: nCode 6.1 95
2007-9: KFactor 6.1 95
2010: BLX 6.1 95
2012: BLX 6.1 95 with Amplifeel
2014: 6.1 95 (Parallel Drilling)
2020: V13
2023: V14

Adding thanks to Addxyz!
(assuming 2017ish) Prostaff Classic 25th Anniversary
2017: 6.1 95 Reissue
I'd say each of those years is +-1 but as far as I'm aware that's all the generations that included an 18x20 (which is all of them but still)

Thank you ekucheraw, that’s quite a list…I tried searching on web but failed in getting a full list of model runs.

I have got K Factor one and v13, the latter has been my go-to stick and K Factor is newly acquired. Will test them side by side and see which one I like better.

KFactor is personally my favorite, many laud the nCode but I think that frame thrived more in the 16x18 version more than the 18x20. I'm a sucker for the V13 glossy black though, it's just so beautiful

I grew up using the classic 6.1 which wrecked my shoulder in college. I tried all of the other ones and liked Ncode the best because it was softer. K6.1 was too stiff for me and aggravated my shoulder

Just bought an used K6.1 today, will give it a fresh string and try it out. My v13 6.1 with NXT Comfort feels pretty comfortable to me.

@gino is the man for this.

Missing Pro Staff Classic 25A and the 2017 red/white 6.1.

Cheers mate, those both came to mind as well

Good list - There's a couple variants of the PSC. The later iteration had "SI" printed on the throat

Couple other shouts:
  • There's also a PSC/HPS 6.1 95 stretch - used by Del Po and Gaudio
  • Wilson Jack Kramer Team (Sold at TP Global - 18 mains, 6.1 95 mold)
  • Wilson Jack Kramer Autograph Millennium Edition (Sold many years ago - the only retail 6.1 95 with a 16x19 pattern)
  • Wilson 6.1 95 Anniversary PSC cosmetic
  • Wilson 6.1 95 2017 Team

Holy crap those Kramer paint jobs were impeccable. Thank you for bringing those to my attention!!!

Retail 16x19... Speaking of that, Tan released a video with a Pro Stock 6.1 95 that is 16x19. I thought the guy said it wasn't released in that pattern for retail.

Thanks for chipping in, gino.

If including all other string patterns, perhaps we are getting a lot more variants into the list. What if only 18x20?

As for HPS 6.1, I got confused cuz according to TW review, it’s 16x18 for the misplus. Only Stretched got 18x20? And there’s also Oversize Stretch (head 106 and 16x20)? When I was looking at ****, I also noticed a HPS 6.1 95 Tour (18x20)? Since Wilson didn’t print the spec on their HPS 6.1 rackets, it just made things even more confusing.
