Do you know what it's construction is to achieve that?

I've seen one but it has a rattle in that area so I wonder if something has come loose. I'm assuming the rackets isnt meant to sound like a maraca!!

If you manage to remove the dome without destroying the grip, you would find a small block of tungsten that had broken away from its tether. I think most of the used T4000s became maracas at some point. This is why the T5000 went with the rubbery dangler instead, which was only marginally more resilient.

Usually it's the plastic above the leather handle with "W" mark that tighten by nylon string that broken into little pieces because of the vibration on the neck....you might see a gap between them....it's getting bigger anytime you use it...I got T4000 to and love to play with it some time....sadly sometimes ago slipped from my grip and broke the butt, but I just glued it and reinforced the inside with rubber sponge....

Those t5000 vibration dampener "danglers" usually broke off and its pretty rare to find one today that is intact. Below picture shows t2000 .. t5000

I passed on a T4000 at a thrift store yesterday because it sounded like a rattle. I’d never seen that grip before.

The T-5000 dampener looks much like what later Lacoste rackets also featured! Right?
I've never seen any T-4000 and T-5000 in real life, not even in pics before!
