hello. i was wondering if anyone whos tried both of these racquet could compare / contrast them. Ive played with the tour 95, and enjoyed it, but ive heard that the rok is much better. IS the powerdrop substantial? also, are there any 4.0 players out there using the rok? did you find it too demanding? thanks alot everyone.

I have not yet tried the tour 95, but I used the ROK for about 4 months. I've since switched to the Volkl Tour 10 V Engine for 2 primary reasons. 1. It resolved my shoulder pain. 2. It's much easier to hit offensively powerful topspin groundstrokes.

The volkl doesn't have the same type of feel that the rok has, which makes it unique, but it still has a nice soft feel that is not muted. I also haven't noticed any loss of control or touch and have actually gained a bit of consistency.

My point being, if you try the rok and like it, also try the v engine.

I've tried the Rok 93" and the Tour 90. To me, the Rok does everything well and is the perfect size. Good feel, control, manueverability, power, weight.. et cetera. It is a very pretty racket too and has a nice glossy coating as oppose to the Tour 90 which I find chips very easily. You just can't go wrong with the Rok. The Tour 90 is a good stick but very demanding. It is a bit head heavy (as compared to the Prostaff 85) and weighs a ton. I'm always late on my swings. But I find that it's the perfect stick for serve and volleying. Very solid feel off volleys. It also has a meanest back-hand slice i've ever hit. BUT, after playing with the Rok and Tour 90 for a while, i've gone back to the 85. Nothing touches it imo.
