hello, looking for any informations about these frames.
when i'm young, saw many frames like wilson FPK (blue/purple version) white (kevlar) and a grey one (graphite).

but today i read a lot of informations bout this frames, but..

looking to know if:
ultra graphite 95 "red version" is the US version of the wilson ultra graphite 95 "grey version".. we found in europe..?

never saw the red version in europe (france)..

is there two versions of the same frames?

for you are they the same frame on two versions? EU & US ?
loocking for one of them, but in france very difficult to found the red version...

I have the grey one. Also have the ceramic and the graphite SL.
The grey Ultra Graphite 95 feels lighter than 358g strung. Very very flexible.

I personally think - after 40 years of trying various racquets - that the dark red tapered beam Ultra Graphite 95 is the best racquet ever produced by the Wilson brand.

There, I said it, for whatever it’s worth to anyone else. This racquet is a rare one which I find equally suitable for classic and modern styles of play; baseline or serve and volley modes. It’s got great power, feel and feedback are very good (for a Wilson), it looks good, it’s easy on the arm, and they’re still pretty cheap.

The 110 is great too.

after several days of post, no one is able to tell me if the red and gray versions of this racket are the iterations of the same frame sold in europe and the usa?

I
do you tell me other thing about the graphite SL?

specs? weight, and how it play compare to ultra graphite? (less or more flex? or same?) thank you

Haven’t played with graphite SL but on a v quick comparison to other racquets of known weight and balance, I’d say it is only slightly lighter than the Ultra Ceramic FP but balance is much more weighted towards the head. In fact It could be HH rather than HL.
It wouldn’t be classed as SL by todays racquet standards. By my estimate the frame is still at least 310g ish unstrung but weight is in the head.

ok, i thought it was a bit like ultra graphite (graphite and fiberglass) therefore, more flexible than kevlar and FPK .. but probably less than grpahite (50/50 it seems to me). I will see well.

Anyone know if Hana Mandlikova actually played with the Graphite SL or did she only endorse it. Signature is on the racquet…

received two frames..
for the moment, the ultra graphite on grey PJ
and a ultra ceramic 95 on pearl PJ..

put on first time (on the first delivred) a 1.25mm pro supex maxim touch.. but, broke about 2h30.
to compare the two frames, decide to strung them with a S-gut, Mantis Power Synth on 1.25mm..

the ultra graphite have more and more flex more control.
on the first time i play with an damper, but, without it was better..

there wasn(t any weight problem!.. strung, with a tourna thin grip and a overgrip Pro's pro G-tacky ultra graphite is 348g, ultra ceramic 347g.. very similar for weight..
i prefer graphite for the moment, (twio frame at the same tension, 25-23)...

tomorow i'm going to received a ultra graphite SL 95 Hana Mandlikova .. let's try it, with the same setup..
