Wilson with Babolat grommets

I've had this idea.
We all know that Babolat has its Woofer technology thanks to its grommets that have its convex shape which make the strings slide and hit the ball better, well its a fact it works.
But Babolat with having developed this technology it doesnt have frames like wilson with it, maybe similar but one thing is a babolat frame and another is wilson.
So.....i was wondering if its posible to put the babolat grommets into a Wilson frame pattern and if it will work?
Any one tried this?

I doubt that it'll work. Grommets are racquet-specific and very rarely fit other racquets of the same brand, much less racquets of other brands.

Yeah.....i was wondering that, but for example have a racquet with the same specifications, 95" and the same string pattern and length....how about that? or will babolat will be able to that costumization for me? or someother company?

I don't get why Babs would help you out here. They want you to buy their racquets.

Unless there's something I'm missing?

I'd be curious to see how such a racquet turns out though.

first of all, babolat doesnt make 97" frames. secondly, it doesnt matter if the headsize is the same or if the string pattern is the same, the holes can be drilled differently, so it won't fit. and babolat will DEFINITELY not make you some custom grommets....unless your name is andy roddick or rafael nadal.

your best bet to try woofer grommets would be to but them into individual grommets and try stringing it up...but even that's a little iffy

ill try fitting normal baboilat grom, mets tro my frame, they sell them in my local tennis store

Good idea . . .

No, no... that's a bad idea.

Forget about the Babolat woofer grommets... copy the Prince O-Port technology instead.

Just start drilling big holes in your Wilson racquet frame.

You can't go wrong!
