Those two were demos and didn’t measure them. I just liked them better with lead at 12 and in the handle. I just put 2,5gr at 12 and a second overgrip. Today i ll measure the one i bought and i will aim for stock balance unstrung which is 32cm, static weight sth between 290-295gr and unstrung SW at 280….. so i guess it will be around 310SW strung. I don’t want to beef it up by much….. it’s super stable even in stock…. Wilson put foam even in the light version. Great decision.
 
My friend brought a demo RF future and I looked at the center mains. It looked like it's a bit more spaced apart than the pro or regular? Can you confirm if this is true or it it just my bad eyesight lol. In regards to my RF Pros, ended up putting the leather grips back on so now it's 346g, 330-331 SW, 32cm. Gonna stick with this spec for a while.

I will let you know in two days time (currently traveling). I don't think so, since grommets are the same for all the RF01s, but better to double-check to confirm!

Anyone still playing with the rf01 pro and what are your thoughts? That few-month honeymoon period is ending for my current stick, and I'm hunting for something new ahahah

Me. Love it. Been messin around with the specs. Right now it's 344g, 332 sw, 32.2cm balance. I like it a lot, it's hard playing with other rackets once you get used to it. Great power, great depths, spin is good as well. Swings really fast for it's weight.

Anyone got some good string recommendations? The demo I tried had alu power, felt awesome and I played so good with it, but I'm not paying for that and for it to die so quickly. @tenncom said restring sync was very close to it. Does anyone have any experience with it in this RF01pro?

NXT mains @53 lbs, 4G crosses @50 lbs works also great for me in the RF 01 Pro; on the expensive side, but super durable!

Yonex Poly Tour Strike was fantastic in the RF01 Pro. Easy power and fairly durable.

I did eventually change to Yonex Poly Tour Rev as I wanted a softer and more controlled feel.

Both strung @ 48lbs and 1.25 and 1.30 gauge respectively.
 
Anyone know what’s up with the big current sale on these? Are they discontinuing it? Seems to be the kind of pricing we see for outgoing models like the Rafa Aeros
 
Just got 2 of them after demoing, been loving hitting with them and playing awesome. I'm just wondering they both weighing just around 345g, where as online is says 337g. I've only added a thin babolat vs original grip which should be 3g, would you say my racquets are over spec or sounds about right for the quality control? Anyone else had the same issue?

Sounds OK for me. Mine is 342 g with OG (B 32.2 cm, SW 329).
 
I just picked one up for the heck of it. I'm excited to get mine strung today. I'm planning on hitting this weekend with it.

337g is w/out OG, with OG it'll be 342g, so your is probably slighly overspec on the static weight.
 
The RF01 Pro was the biggest ever disappointment as far as racquets go. I played it for one hour, then decided to flip it.

I played with the first RF97 for quite some time, and really enjoyed that one. The RF just didn't appeal to me in any way
besides the cosmetics. Perhaps it was an odd one that had slipped through QC somehow, not sure. Really hoped that I would
like the RF01 Pro, but back to my PS97.

No big deal of course, no racquet is for everyone, just first time I had that kind of experience.
 
For those who still curious with RF 01 pro, try replace leather grip with synthetic one (wilson pro performance) and drop your tension a bit.
It works for me, reduced weight makes my swing faster and can prepare earlier. Not having any issues with balance. Will measure strung weight, swing weight etc later.

Anyone having same experience? Also interested to try 300 gr version with leather grip :)

Haven't changed or added any weight myself besides an overgrip, but I'm tempted to add a little weight in the handle to make it more headlight. Other than that, I have been loving it. I think I want to try a few different strings though, currently have Lynx tour in at 47 at the moment and it's nice but I think I can do better.

Tried this ended up preferring the leather. After 1 year of tinkering specs, finally settled on 345-346g, 330-331 SW, 31.9 - 31.95 cm balance.

Wow, this is way nicer than what they had at Berlin last year. I had a racket in my hand but the paint lettering looked like it had just been put on a couple hours before. I was afraid to touch it in case it might rub off. Very poor. And the grips were all black. This year's however looks much improved. Whoever was in charge of quality for it last year must have gotten in trouble.

But when you hit a good ball with the RF the contact feel is “solid” it’s not tinny, not harsh, just very confident and “PONG” — whereas for example in my Aero it’s kind ofthis “ting” instead. Almost like it feels “hollow.” I might produce an identical swing but somehow the contact feel (and sound) of the Aero is a lot more thin compared to the robust RF

I don’t know how to describe it better — but does anyone know what I mean? What causes that sensation? Someone told me it’s an effect of foam (and honestly I haven’t ever had any other foam filled rackets so I cannot tell)

beam construction/shape and weight/weight distribution can also contribute to how solid a racquet feels

Also want to add that the RF line is foam filled! So it makes sense it has less sound(resonance) than the hollow(in a literal sense) Babolat frames. And it has less dampening tech in most other modern Wilsons.

Despite not being a fan of the RF 01 Pro, I actually still really enjoy hitting with the RF 01 300g and keeps it in my bag. It feels more solid than the spec would suggest and is very easy to manipulate. I play better with more powerful frames on my best days (Shift 300) but on a hot day where the balls are flying when I'm missing long I can actually get better results with the RF01. The stringbed response is very predictable and works well enough for all of my shots. It definitely rewards more liner strokes with the biggest weakness being the small sweet spot. If they can drastically change that aspect, make it half as forgiving as a Ezone 98 while keeping other playabilities, this would be a huge winner.
