Good for Ana to scrape through like that but I wonder how much damage he can do at this tournament now,he seems to be in poor form and this match must have been exhausting.It looks like it will be one of the Williams sisters to take the title here.

If this happens,I may for the first time cheer for Serena.She's so obnoxious with the constant celebrating after every point,screaming after the win!!!
 
Serena is winning, but she can't seem to pull away from Radwanska.

2-2 in the 2nd set.

All that being said, I really like this girl Urzula Radwanska's game.

That's something you don't see everyday, a woman with a cleft chin. :(

But Bartoli needs to step it up to keep some of her points from the finals last year.
 
Ivanovic ate a breadstick. On a side note, pity that Mauresmo is injured, you have to love her backhand and net game.
 
Ana has been broken 4 times today, and she has only broken Zheng once.

She is clearly not playing well this Championships, and so far today she has looked really out of it. :cry:

Zheng is going to win. Shes steadier and a lot faster at running.
 
Zhang is killing her now 5-3. cant see Ivanovic escaping from this one.
 
Does it seem like Ivanovic is starting to cry a little already? I can't see her coming back if that is the case.
 
Looks like we are pretty much guaranteed an All-Williams final this year. Which I pretty much figured on happening once Justine retired.

It's going to be a long time before Ana is considered the best player in the world by her peers, right now she's just #1 on paper.

The power of expectations are a little too much for Ana at this stage, but she wasn't meant to stay much longer in this tournament. :-?

I'm rooting for the "good" Serbian Jelena,Ana gets on my nerves.The less I have to hear her screaming that ayea thing,and fist pump the more happy I am.:D
 
I think it is not a forgone conclusion. None of the Williamses are looking especially sharp. Kuzzie, Jankovic and Safina seem in good shape too. It is completely open, IMO.

i hope she (jelena) makes the most of the even more open field with sharapova and ivanovic out but i'm afraid she'd fold against one of the williamses.
