Can you believe this QF's?. 4 Top seeds out. Hardly anyone to choose from. I think Venus has all set to win the title. But i woudn't be so sure Serena will get to the finals. She's been playing like crap, but enough to make it into the quarters though since she's a TOP SEED. That's what you expected from them.

I'm really dissapointed but whatever.

My Picks:

Zheng- Vaidisova is a headcase
Radwanska- The grass momentum I hope, will continue
Petrova- I just don't think Dementieva will hold up...though Petrova loses focus alot also
Venus- Tanasugarn is in her first ever Gran Slam Quarterfinal....she'll crumble against Venus
 
This has been the most pathetic display of women's tennis at Wimbledon I remember in my life. They pretty much all suck.

To bad Justin retired, this would have been a freebe for her.

if dementieva loses this match she'll be called 'demented'. if she goes on to win wimbledon she'll be 'dementor'. ;)
 
On TV they should show Leconte and Bahrami playing doubles.It would be much more fun then watching crappy womens matches

On TV they just showed a commercial for something to help dementia.

A quick word about the Williams girls complaining about the scheduling 'consipiracy': Venus was pretty gracious about it during her post-match press conference Saturday. Felt things ought to be fair to the men, too. Made good sense to me. But, then Serena and Oracene got into it.

EDIT: Oh, and speaking of conspiracies, how about the ridiculously easy draws for the two of them? It's like the entire WTA is in on this. And the sisters score opposite halves AGAIN? Paging barry. barry, please report to the draw-rigging counter, directly behind the tournament desk. Also all other draw conspiracists. Stat.

Anyway, go Venus and Serena. As long as I don't have to wake up and actually watch the final.

zheng was too consistent-well deserved win. wins it 6-1 in the 3rd.
 
Zheng has been amazing, and I think I read somewhere that she almost didn't take the Wildcard she got into the draw, and look at her now. I would love to see her go the distance and win this whole thing, though realistically I don't think she will, she has showed a lot of heart in getting this far, hopefully this motivates her to put more dedication back into her singles game.

Funny... it might be a coincidence, but advertisers could have the say what page they want their add to appear on, and when they want their commercials to appear. But no reason for any advertiser to be mocking her name... so it's got to be a coincidence.
