Both matches today started out looking like they'd be classic, ended up having lackluster finishes.
Ben Stiller's hair is absolutely preposterous. Does he think he is Ron Wood?

Wow, can you think of a point as important as Tsonga letting that ball go at 5-5 in the second set tiebreak?

I'm not saying Tsonga would have won the set. And, Murray, no matter what had a great chance to win the match anyway, because (a) he still could have won the seocnd set because they simply would have been on serve with him serving at 5-6, (b) Murray's better overall, (c) Tsonga can't usually sustain his highest level for a long time, and (d) Tsonga's not a mental giant, not great fight. Sometimes he'll fight, but sometimes he just goes away (as we're seeing).

But I would have loved to at least seen how the tiebreak played out with Tsonga up 6-5 (Murray would have had real pressure on that point), and would have been interested to see what would have happened if Murray would have been down 2 sets to love.

I like Murray and have no problem with him winning, but I HATE good matches that fall apart and become crappy matches like this one. And, I think Tsonga would have been at least a bit more mentally in it if he hadn't let that ball go and lost the second set.

But, the better player won and Nadal-Murray should be epic.

Well, after this horrible day of tennis at least Murray wins. I hope he beats Nadal and then Djokovic/Berdych in the final and wins his first slam, but sadly it looks like another title for Nadal. Sad times.

Murray was lucky to win this match i think. Don't know what the heck Tsonga was thinking leaving that ball in the second set tie break which would have pretty much sealed a 2 sets to 0 lead. Having said that, Murray is a fighter and came back strong with a convincing 4 sets win.

How can Murray be lucky to win and win convincingly at the same time? That's quite a contradiction in terms. Murray is simply the better player.

Not really, Murray would have had two service points at 5-6, anything could have happened.

As a huge Tsonga fan I was so disappointed at this result... so happy he won the first set and thought he should have won the second also which could have sealed the match. After that he just disappeared, but we saw time and time again Murray's irritating defensive game paying dividends against the player willing to play aggressively and go for his shots. I think this frustrated Tsonga. It's disappointing that Tsonga keeps disappearing at the crucial times, time and time again it's his mental game that let's him down, it's like he just stops playing.

I'm hating this Wimbledon so far, I can't believe Federer is out too.

Does anyone have a video on the 2nd set TB?
